2 Handed Weapon and Advanced Crit Table

My friends and I like the rules for using the Advanced Criticals Table. I have a question however, if a character uses a 2 Handed Weapon, apparently it is still necessary to designate if the weapon is an axe, hammer, etc in order to use the Adv Crit table.

My question is, do I just choose whatever type of two handed weapon I want? Generally, which is considered the most effective type for the adv crit table?

I'd go with WYSIWYG here. If the model wields a double-handed axe or swords, then it is bladed weapon. Even if it only wields a single handed hammer or sword I'd go with the respective type instead of choosing what I like best. However, if the model wields a crossbow (physically) but, gamewise, has a 2-handed weapon in additon, I guess you can just make it up. I mean, what else should you do?

Put a two handed weapon on the models back. I shudder to think where the model is hiding that 2-hander if it isn't visible. Ouch.

The model is a chaos dwarf centaur - i am currently building the arms and weapon handle. I basically just wanted to know which among the weapon types (bladed, bludgeoning, etc) would be most practical for this guy's weapon on the Advanced Crit tables.

Just choose the one you think is best. Bludgeoning has some good results, the chance to deny their attacks of auto-out someone. Slashing is just plain nasty, causing 2 wounds 2/3 of the time. I would model the centaur the way you want and just use whatever looks best for the model.
