As squigs dont charge, they move and if they come into contact with a model it counts as a charge would they have to pass a fear test to get into combat with eg a zombie? seems as your not actually declaring a charge how would this situation workout?

You still make a fear test, but move in to base contact, if you squig fail its fear test it only hits on a 6. (just like if it had been chargede by a fear causing model)

I know the rules all point toward squigs taking fear tests, but I can't even imagine a scared squig. There's no brain in there, just more teeth. I would houserule squigs being immune to fear.

I always tought them as "animals" and it's common for animals have fears of more menacing predators that they will never attack.. The squig have so many random bounces that neither them know where they will impact, so if they go in contact with a very scary monster (in their perspective) they need to overcome their animal fear..

at least, i always tought this way of them
