| Hard to be sure from the photo, but I think you have two chaps from the old Vespero's Vendetta regiment or renown and a Mordheim Marienburger who's missing an arm. | |

| Has anyone an idea how to model whips and ropes? I really like the conversion of the Augur in this thread and want to do the same. | |

| Does anyone know where I could get my hands on some plastic female models? I have an aversion to metal, but I'm not THAT picky. Reaper has a couple of decent looking ones, but I'm not that interested in the whole "bikini mail" look: some simple robe/leathers/cloaks combination would be ideal Any links would be appreciated. | |

| This is a rather small question that I think doesn't warrant it's own thread: what warhammer model has the most chainmail armour? I love painting chainmail and I love how it looks. Non-GW models that could be used in mordheim are also fine. | |

Dark eldar, some dark elf and wood elf sprues have some female torsos and some of the new Dark Eldar may even have complete models. - Quote :

I'm not sure of how their catalog works anymore, but I think you are looking for old models. Otherwise I think Reaper's figure finder would be the way to go.

. Just elves huh? Hmm... may have to keep searching ebay or the like. Some of the Reaper ones look pretty good, but again, I have a real attachment to plastic. Any other mini-makers out there that have fantasy models besides GW and avatars of war?

| Plastic female models are rare indeed. especially if you want them to look human. these however can be a very good base for convertion: Plastic amazons Also, I have had quite a bit of success using these bitz: Torso'sOn this beast-wo-man for instance | |

| As most of my old paints have dried up I have been looking into buying some new paints. A local store stocks GW and Army Painter starter kits, but I remember that the last year before I quit I started buying Vallejo and found them much better than the GW paints I had been using previously. Should I order a Vallejo starter kit online instead?
I read some reviews about the new Army painter colors, but mostly they compared them to GW and not Vallejo.

| A friend of mine has a undead warband with zombies in it. He is kinda bummed out by the "may not run" rule, since his zombies hardly get into the action at times. He was asking to scratch that rule so they could run, and instead make their point cost go up (we are fine with that).
So here is the question, what would be an appropriate point cost/raise to "buy" a "may run" ability for zombies? |

| Rather than a points cost, I'd associate a risk factor for league play. Â
I.e. Â
Fragile: Zombies are little more than automatons reanimated by unholy energies. Â While they may feel no pain, their bodies are still susceptible to wear and tear, but have no ability to heal. Â A necromage may urge his minions to move faster than their normal pace at the risk that they may be damaged beyond use. Â
As long as the necromancer in the warband has not been taken out of action, zombies may run up to 6". Â At the end of the battle, roll a D6 for each zombie that ran this way. Â On a roll of 4+, the zombie's joints have failed and it is too damaged to move. Â Remove the zombie from the warband roster. Â
Perhaps to mitigate this, there could be a piece of wargear you can buy:
Reinforced Body - 10GC: If bodies have become scarce (or the necromancer has found a zombie he is particularly fond of), a necromage may decided to invest in the "health" of his otherwise disposable minions. Â By reinforcing the joints of a corpse with metal pins and leather braces, the stresses of movement and combat may be reduced.
As long as the warband has a necromancer, zombies may buy the reinforced body upgrade. Â Models with this upgrade may run up to 6" with no penalty.

| Thank you Major Sharpe, we will put both options to the test. Although just by looking at them, the Reinforced body option will probably be the winner |

| I'd suggest letting them run the full 8 either way. Also you may have figured this out already, but you're in the Painting and Modeling section. The Random Little Questions are supposed to be about painting and modeling concerns. No rules question is too small for its own thread (except those about dual wielding) if the question is posed in the Rules and Gameplay section. Â | |

| You mean except for the GW-HP? They show quite a lot of the sprues, most of the later releases can be seen. Do you need anything special? | |

| Nothing in particular, it was mostly just for browsing around. I have noticed that there are pictures of sprues on the GW site, I was looking around at some 40k orks. Interested in if they could be used for Mordheim, or if they were too futuristic. | |

| One of the 40K Imperial Guard sprues has them. Can't remember if it is the Catachans or the Cadians off-hand | |

| Anyone familiar with using Citadel Imperial Primer? The stuff seems to come out as thin as a wash, can't get it to cover anything. | |

| The spray can? You need to shake it for a couple of minutes. I always count to 300 (while shaking) before I start spraying and I repeat shaking a bit every couple of spray"bursts". | |

| I've found you have to stir it aggressively each time you use it. Even as a wash, its pretty effective though. | |

| Hey guys, does anyone know who the manufacturer of this mini is? I thought Black Scorpion at first, but whileit's their style (beard especially) and they have numerous minis with similar poses, I can't find the exact match on their side. Any other suggestions? | |
