The Gangs of Maudeheim, Part III, 05/09/24

I got a little work done on the Faerie Fellow's Mushrooms:


AND a couple of Mushrooms for The Box:


Slowly coming up to speed.

Another Mushroom companion for the Faerie Fellows is now more or less done:

SO I am back at it. I had a painted Troll who needed a new base. I thought I would make a swamp base with a Swamp Thing rising from the muck with a hummock on his head. After some consideration/inertia, I decided the Troll was a bit too drab for the scene. I am opting for a new, somewhat more colorful Troll. The Swamp Thing will be surround by a few other hummocks.
This where the thing stands thus far:







More whenever.  

Some progress: the base is coming along. The hummocks have been added, swamp water sculpted, & the base coat has been applied:









More later...or not.

AND the base is approaching completion. The addition of some moss should finish it.











...then on to the painting...eventually.

The Swamp Thing & Troll got some paint on the groundwork:






I based up the Big Rat Guy for the Sewer Rat Gang:




AND I finished the already painted Troll with the addition of a proper base:











Things are coming along...kind of.

I finally sorted out all the packed up painted things from the move North. I know pretty much where everything is now AND I finished touching up & repairing those few things that were damaged in the move. Snow White's Recreational Potions (drug consortium) got the tall chimney repaired:

The Grim Reaper Mushroom got a right arm replacement & Leo Sizechekz, my size comparison mini, got a new coat & pants stripes:













Now on to new thing...eventually.

In the sorting I found some Mushrooms that had been painted but never based. SO I based up two that reminded me of American Gothic:







The Swamp Thing is done now. He seems a little camera shy:




The largest of the mushrooms also got some attention:

The Snow White Recreational Potion Gang is now based, converted, & ready for some color:


With some Spook Shields:


AND another Troll & Bat Girl (succubus):

The latest digression is a Witch/Sorcerer Frog inspired/stolen from Caroline McFarland-Watts' Tall Tales Production; a frog in a witch's hat:




The frog is a little plastic thing I got from Michael's. The hat & frog face are mine.

The Frog Sorcerer is just about ready for a base barring a touchup or two:

AND just when you thought it was safe to go to the pond, YET ANOTHER Magical Frog appears:


This one has Witch vibes...or warts.

The first of the Snow White Gang is pretty much done AND his twin is under way:

Other than the base & some possible touchups, the Frog Witch is done.

I finished the Frog Witch & Wizard a couple of days ago, AND finally got around to taking a few photos of the couple:

Friend Ethan & I had been talking about Cruel Reality . The thought of making Cruel Reality as a miniature was too good not attempt it. SO I made up an armature with hands & face from the G.W. Zombie sprue:






AND sculpted him & Dead Fred the Tombstone:






Basing & painting next.

Cruel Reality now is based up with another haunted tombstone for company:




AND I based & base coated a bunch of SpellCrow Hobgoblins:


A Goblin with Mandolin & Dog, Halfling with Pig, & a Zealot Wizard:


I am going to have to start painting things up pretty soon...maybe.
