New Warband / BEASTMEN Empire in Flames AND Wissenlander!

Soon to begin a new campaign, me playing beastmen and serialmom skaven, so, i searched ebay for some nice citadel oldies and found them , based half of them. Its a mix of stones and green/mud and leafes, not good to see in the greenstuff phase.

Hope to get them painted before march, cant wait to get started!

...that secret is kept good on by the big guy wearing the SM-Leather Equipment and Battleaxe, think he is originaly called Ox Roar, Chaos Champion of Ultimate Slaughter by CITADEL, so believe me, NO one in this herd will try to ask what little sheepy is doing here

I had this idea you would do some sort of conversion work on the sheep & make him the War Band Leader...kind of a take on the Killer Rabbit.

Good combination of miniatures, promises to be an awesome warband when finished!

Well, just have changed it to AND WISSENLANDER cause i also started to work on another old Warband of mine, a Old Citadel/ MARAUDER mini warband, based on washers, did that for one warband once, and believe me , you dont have to be afraid of tilting those minis , they stand firm!

As is or repainted, they are a GREAT LOOKING Band of Hooligans! Have FUN with the...I can't imagine you not having FUN with whatever you do!

Well, guess what i got with the mail today?! The painted gang, fresh from france!
I know, one could paint them himself, but when i start to paint a warband, it will take years to finaly be able to field them , so, someone else paints, what the hell should i do with the scenery and no minis to play on?

Those are all BEAUTIFULLY painted Old minis. OUTSTANDING STUFF!

Lots to like here. The use of old figures, the painting, the greenstuffed bases etc.

The idea of using Oldhammer figures for games of  ’Oldheim’ really appeals to me. It’s a pity that most of the stuff Citadel produced is a bit too well equipped for WYSIWYG games. There are some notable exceptions, of course e.g. the C46 Militia.

It's a cool looking group of miniatures togheter, with an amazing paintjob Good stuff!

Lovely warbands, the paintjob on the Wissenlander looks phenomenal, congratz on the commission!. The Mordheim scenery by Benjamin is absolutely mindblowing indeed!!! Also looking forward to see what you do with the beastmen band.

The Beasty Boys look TERRIFIC! Simon Bradley has a very recognizable style. His subdued colors are lovely. GREAT STUFF!

The beastmen are excellently painted, they look amazing!

We had a lot of games since the last post, hope i can find the time to post some ingame pics soon.
Oh, and orcs too, had them on the shelf for a looooong time, now they have recieved the paintjob

Beasty Boys, Orcs, & Goblins are WONDERFUL miniatures, BEAUTIFULLY painted & based. Simon Bradley does have a readily identifiable style. OUTSTANDING STUFF!
