| Hey all! So currently me and some friends are working on an Mordheim Empire in Flames campaign and thought it would be nice to share some of our progress from time to time! I already finished painting a warband, The Eichewäldchen Forest Patrol from Hochland, which I will use as count as Averlanders. Hope you like them! | |

| The are both WONDERFULLY painted. The Knights's expression reminds me of Charlton Heston in The War Lord. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Thanks Deafnala! I have to be honest that I had to look up who Charlton Heston was, but indeed the mini does look a bit like him! Especially with the hair of Heston in The War Lord, haha ! | |

| One of those thing that you will run into when you are old is that you will mention the name of a famous actor/actress from when you were young & draw a blank stare from the younger folk in the room. | |

| The knight ans squire are two fine new additions. The knight's shield is a little blank imo but I like what you did to bring the starterbox bretonian archer to the 21st century. | |

| Thanks Grimscull! I agree, the shield is a bit blank, but luckily I haven't varnished them yet so I might redo it. Was thinking on adding some Heraldry, but not really sure if Knightt-Errant's are suppose to have that already and otherwise maybe some battle damage... I always have a hard time highlighting flat surfaces to be honest... | |

| Sorry for the double post! But Grimsculls feedback made me read some more on Knight-Errants and they definitely use Heraldry as they want to prove themselves worthy as Knights and want to be recognized So I will add some Heraldry soon and thanks again for the feedback Grimscull, appreciate it! Also wanted to show off an other Knight-Errant I made a while ago, still having doubts to add a shield or not because I like his pose. So maybe on his back... Michél la Bête, Bretonnian Knight-Errant. And well to add some more, why not show my dear Rosie her warband! She painted up some High Elves and is going to use them as Shadow Walkers. Shadow Walkers by Rosie. | |

| The elven warband and the new knight both look fine. So you can play a campaign against your wife/girlfriend? Now THAT's convenient! PS If you don't wanna bother with heraldry, you could go with some battle damage. That's what I had in mind! | |

| Thanks guys! And yes, it's convenient! I'm really happy that she likes painting miniatures from time to time, but she's more interested in the Lord of the Rings kind of stuff and Star Wars... I guess it's easier to relate to because of the movies and stuff Yeah I might look into that aswell! I have a long way to go and still have to learn alot on painting, haha! Really need to work on finding and following guides to improve myself | |

| Three great looking warbands there! Though that chap pointing his pistol seems to be missing a piece off the end... That's how accidents happen. | |

| Thanks Rhydderch! Yeah it's kind of a strange design pistol, maybe a good story for his scar haha! I think the end (if we're talking about the same piece of the pistol, my knowledge about guns is really limited haha), is lowered on this model.. but that might be hard to see from the front tho.. | |

| Your paintwork looks great. Very clean with good shading. I wish i had the patience to paint like that again. Now i just throw on some wash and highlight to get it done.
Regarding your knight. Idk how you feel about blue tack, but i usually leave the off hand open, then tack on a shield when i get around to buying one. Then you could swap its position based on your mood.

| Thanks Morticai! I always disliked painting because I also didn't have the patience for it! It al changed like a year ago. Before that I always preferred building and converting mini's, what resulted in a huge backlog of unfinished projects haha... Somehow it all changed and now I like to seem painting more The blue tack is a very good tip! I also considered to magnetize it, but I haven't decided it yet. I really want to make them stand out a bit from eachother so I thought that leaving the shield of did.. but then again a knight seems to have a shield haha... such hard decisions | |

| I actually meant the other end of the pistol -- the muzzle, where the bullets come out. For some reason GW got into the habit of making the muzzle a separate piece on a lot of kits, so it might still be hiding on a sprue or in your bitz box if you wanted to add it on...
I also missed off saying how good the paintwork is -- really good! Simple, striking colour schemes, very classic Empire, & well painted. Plus, they're well based, which always makes a model look better. Great work all round!

| Thanks for clearing that up! Now I get what you mean! And I believe to have the party laying around somewhere... I always thought it belonged to the rifles and stuff, but thanks again for clearing this up I will add it to make him look proper! And thanks! I agree that basing is a very important part, it can make or break your mini! | |
