| Hello everyone, In this topic I will post all of my Mordheim terrain. Most of my buildings are built from scratch with cardboard, foam, wood and plastic. If you have any questions, suggestions or criticisms, please feel free to post them! Let's begin with one of my oldest works, an old inn: The grassy base is removable, to make it more suitable for urban environments such as Mordheim. | |

| That's a cool looking piece of terrain, thanks for sharing. I like the green tone and the removable base is a clever idea. | |

| Thank you for the kind words! Next is a smaller building I managed to finish rather quickly. Though small, it provides some much needed elevation and cover. Models still stand surprisingly stable on the rubble inside, and still have some room on the upper floor. | |

| That's a nice little and simple house. I like it very much. So I think I have to build something similar... | |

| I like the rubble. For a city devastated by a freaking Comet, most tables have inexplainably tidy streets and such. | |

| Thanks for the replies! @Grimscull. Yes, I always try to add some rubble on my ruins, though it often sacrifices space for miniatures to stand. @Von Kurst. Certainly sir, here you go: This building has multiple accessible levels and provides some vantage points. | |

| That is another BEAUTY... LOVE the balcony. The shot down the stairwell is a TERRIFIC. OUTSTANDING WORK! If you mount your rubble on separate bases, you could remove it when you need to place miniatures in the building. It can also double for cover elsewhere. I did that with some Mordheim boards I did for an erstwhile friend. I worked out splendidly or so I am told. | |

| I agree with grimskull regarding the first building- the green looks great and the removable base is very smart. I quite like the wood siding too- I may try that for one of my buildings. Thanks for the inspiration . | |

| Thank you all for the kind replies! Next something small: It is a nice centrepiece for a town square or plaza. It provides some cover, and possibly some slight elevation. I'm uncertain whether the poor sod hangs there since before the comet fell, or has been more recently strung up... | |

| Thanks DeafNala! Another small building: To prevent the roof from flooding, the three faces act as waterspouts to drain away excess water. | |

| Ooo, this is nice work. Really like the gallows, which I've somehow only just seen. & the drainspout faces are a really effective touch -- realistic, characterful, & very fitting for Mordheim. | |

| OUTSTANDING! The signs are BEAUTIES, very imaginative AND very Mordheim. The list of hangings looks like it came right from the Town Crier. THe Sigmar sign has a tapestry look that fits the subject & the times perfectly. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Thanks guys! Though I originally found the posters on google images, I discovered they actually come from this topic here. So thanks @Arcuballis ! Though I do understand the appeal, I have never liked the ramshackle bridges and planks that many people use to connect their buildings' upper floors. Often, they seem to span too great a gap, and I never really get why warbands or Mordheim survivors would put in the effort to construct them. So to give my games some much needed elevation, I built a city-wall some time ago. This wall is supposed to be an old wall that has become redundant as the city has grown, and has since been slowly incorporated into the city itself. As you can see, some sections have gates or doorways at ground-level. I am trying to make the wall as modular as possible, with some bends and towers/bastions. So in practice, if you're walking along a street like this: You can enter a building, climb up some stairs... And then sneak up on the bastard that was shooting down at you! Of course, the yellow building can connect to the wall directly as well. My plan is to build some more bastions and some sections where the wall has crumbled away. Additionally, I wish to make more buildings that can connect to the wall, creating an elevated path with multiple access points. | |

| I get where you are coming from with the long cobbled together bridges- I don't have any on my table either. Your castle wall solution looks good- nice work. | |

| That's really cool work! The work you've done on making modular parts & getting them to match up to form a continuous yet adaptable wall is really impressive, so well done on that.
Though I will stand in defence of cobbled together bridges. After all, wyrdstone makes you do wyrd things. They've got the bad crazy... | |
