Each single angel is terrifying.
-Duino Elegies: The First Elegy, by Rainer Maria Rilke
Translated by Albert Ernest Flemming

Greetings!  For my current campaign, I needed to create five guardian beasts which the players would have to defeat.  They served as sort of "meat walls" to prevent the players from venturing too deeply before they were ready.  Defeating all five monsters would unlock access to the Palace of Dreams.

The one I am featuring first is the Pig-God.  It's not the weakest of the five or the first to challenge the players and, as of the time of writing, he is undefeated.

More pictures of him on my blog The Fox & Goat!

More abominations to follow...

That is an UBERCOOL piece. I love all the paraphernalia he is SO amply supplied with...the wagon wheel is WONDERFULLY  useless, just the thing a Giant Pig would carry around. VERY WELL DONE!   thumbsup
What model did you use as the basis for the conversion?

I'm glad you liked him! The base model is a Skaven Stormfiend. The head is an orc boar head, the hand is from the Daemon Prince. Plus lots of bits and lots of green stuff!

Really awesome conversion! He/its just dripping with character, I can picture him smashing through a wall and into an unsuspecting warband.

Is it possible to get some more pictures from different angles?

Also what stats does he have?

Can't wait to see more!

Edit- just saw the blog so disregard the more pictures inquiry! Very Happy Very Happy

I will eventually do a blog post on him, but since you asked...

His stats are below.  Remember also that he gains the special rules for being a monster as described in the special rules for the Serene Annihilation campaign (to include Monstrous Attacks, etc.).

He is also intended to be able to take on two warbands at once, alone.

M   WS   BS   S   T   W   I   A   Ld
====================================
6     5     3    6    5   6   3   4    9

Presence: 2

Weapons/Armor:
Mace, light armor, shield (see below).

Skills: Heroic Might, Heroic Intervention, Heroic Fate

SPECIAL RULES

MONSTER: The Pig-God is a Monster and gain's all special rules described under "Monsters."

HUGE SHIELD: At the end of the Pig-God's turn, pick a facing.  The choices are: front, left, right, rear.  Shooting attacks made from that direction are blocked by the shield and the Pig God gains a 4+ armor save against them.  The Pig-God receives only a 6+ save against shooting attacks made from other directions.  The Pig-God may pick a new direction for his shield every turn.

In close combat, the Pig-God receives a 5+ armor save.
