PostSubject: My city so far...   My city so far... Icon_minitimeTue 29 Sep 2015 - 22:55

Got the chance to take some pics of my most ambitious hobby project so far; scratch building a Mordhiem and maybe Frostgrave board. There's still a lot of work left to do, but should get it done by Christmas!

Any ideas on how to improve them would be much appreciated.

That is one VERY CUTE Little Lady you have there. AND some VERY IMPRESSIVE W.I.P. pieces. The potential for a jaw dropping gaming board is apparent. Keep up the GREAT WORK!   thumbsup

Thanks chaps!

@Theomar maybe I'm thinking about making a lot of the risers then connecting them with bridges sort of like Venice, I think for water I'd just use some sort of shiney blue/green material this could then be swapped out for my trusty grey and brown spray painted felt mat if I wanted a "dry" set up. Eventually I'm gonna do a proper textured cobble stone board.

The scenery in any miniatures game is important but the work put into some boards on this forum is just jaw dropping. well done with this set up it will look magnificent.
