| Ok, while you wait, you can look over my first ever War Hammer army. I traded my Tau army for a good number of Chaos units and when the "new" worriros came out, I picked them up and started painting. As you can see, I am a Slaanesh player. It takes me a VERY long time to paint. 1st of all, I am totally anal!!! 2nd I have to young kids and have very little time anymore to sit down for a few hours and really dig in! Plus, I am building and painting 3 armies! Yes, I am one of "those" guys. I need multiple projects...did I mention I am also building and painting 2 40K armies as well! I'll be busy until my kids are married...and my oldest isnt even 4 yet! LOL...enjoy. Front Line of my Chosen Worriors, the 2 guys on the ends are my Lord/champion. The banner is plain as I STILL dont know what to paint on it! I know, I am sick. Mounted Champion, I am also in process of building a mounted champion on horse back...horse and figure needed alterations to work. | |

That should be reachable by car! Why don't you guys get together for a game of Mordheim? * *walks off with a jolly matchmaker's smile on his face* _________________

| Nice looking Chaos Warriors there. They make me think that a Slannesh inspired Possessed warband would be very cool... | |

| COOL STUFF! A VERY appealing choice of colors, & an EXCELLENT execution. The Slaanesh Warbands/Armies have the same kinky attraction as the Dark Elves sans the pointy ears. Your rendition IMPLIES such in a rather understated way. I don't fancy the chances of my Night Goblins Horde against these guys(?), but then again winning isn't EVERTHING. @Tom: Ajax is about 50 or so miles West of moi. In my working days I used to commute that distance EVERY-GOD-AWFUL day. AND he knows how to take/post photos: COOL, huh!? | |

| wow...thanks guys. Yes, I took them myself. I would NOT take money from anyone here for help with photos. Just bring the pizza over I got into into GW by accident. I used to build 1/35 scale tank and AFV models and even did competed in some local and national events. So one day, a co worker said, "hey, being you like to built and paint, then why dont you look into 40K" I said, "what the hell is 40K?" I bought a single Armagedon patter sentinel from Grass Hoppers (the local war hammer store and the rest is HISTORY....much to the dismay of my wallet...I have the following armies now, with only my WHFB chaos being 90% done! Chaos Empire DEs VC Orcs and gobbos (all new in a box and trying to sell) 40K IG with a ton of allies (death watch, DHers) Black Templars Started to make Chaos Cult of Slanesh, bought the cool slaneshi dred from FW and some bits for all the cool blasters....and then they got rid of that cult!!!! So now I am only keeping the champs and special characters to build and paint for my show case and selling the rest...too bad. Ill post my 40K stuff in the proper forum...you might have seen them before, they are posted on other sites. Thanks again. | |

| Funny, we ALL start out fat, dumb, & happy AND are lured into the hobby . One of the guys I used to paint for, Rob H., frequented Grass Hopper's & had all sorts of wonderfull things to say about the shop. I WON'T hold that against the store, however . | |

| I guess you are being sarcastic when you say "wonderful"? LOL. Actually, it is a very good store. They have a ton of stuff on sale, what ever they dont have they can get, they let people play and hang out for free...no pay to play, the owners are very nice and John plays both WHFB and 40k. And best of all, he has a TON of terrain and abotu 6-8 tables to play on. I like there. The people are great too. I have met some very good friends at Hoppers, many of them I have become actual friends with.
Maybe one day we can meet there. We are starting a campaign with in weeks and every Friday night is Mordheim miniture painting night until the campaign starts...excuse to get ready.
@ Matt, I will send you a PM tonight or tomorrow. I have to make a detailed list and some pics.

| ACTUALLY, from what my erstwhile patron said, Grass Hopper's REALLY does sound like a great hobby store; the sarcasm was meant for the aforementioned patron [further commentary may be found in Black Templar post ]. Meeting up would be VERY cool! While I've found fatherhood to be THE MOST REWARDING job I've ever had, I think that the impact of having children will end shortly after my heart stops beating. HOWEVER, your kids are in the age bracket that I'd classify them as potential Grandchildren; from my wizened old perspective THAT's COOL! | |

| VERY NICE STUFF! It's refreshing to see a unit of cavalry that comprises more than 5 minis, particularly a unit of Chaos Knights. Are you going to be adding any device to your banners? | |

| Hi Ajax, I was wondering if you could help me : you don't seem to have the black armour, but maybe you want to tell me how you mixed your purples ? (base, shadow, highlight) (I just hope you use gw paints ....) I posted this in the small questions thread, but didn't get much reply up 'till now :
i've got a colour question ; I can't seem to reproduce the kind of purple Games Workshop uses on some of their Slaanesh armour (highlighting on black). Their boxes say nauseating blue, but I can't find the right colour mix. Does anyone know / can help me ? thanks in advance
