| Hi guys and gals, I'm brand new to this game and planning on creating Chaos and Skaven warbands to play with my 6.5 year old son. Nothing competitive, but looking to build around figures that we like the look of. I'd love to start with a Rat Ogre for the Skaven, but noticed that you can now only buy them as part of a pack. I guess I could get use out of the other figures, but I know that you can only field one Rat Ogre. The second one in the pack would be redundant. Are there any other models worth looking at? I'm based in the UK so would rather order within the UK. Secondly, what size model should I use for a Possessed? I love the look of the GW Gutrot Spume model, but it's on a larger base. I'm assuming that it's of a similar scale to a Rat Ogre? Would this be too big? Again, what other suppliers could I look at for different models? http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Gutrot-SpumeCheers, Jed | |

| You can still get the MH Rat Ogre on Ebay, though he is expensive (The MH Skryre Rat Ogre's prices are insane) There is a Rat Ogre in the Warhammer Starterbox many people resell seperately, also in the Screaming Bell box that isn't needed if one builds the Plaque Furnace. The only alternative I remember would be to use a blood bowl Ratogre like this one: http://www.impactminiatures.com/index.php?option=ratmen_profile&id=RM_WRT1A Possessed is on a 25mm base. Both Gutrot and a RO are on a 40mm base, though Gutrot clearly seems smaller. I bet you could fit him on a 25mm base, if you make the stone his left foot stands on leap over the edge a bit. otherwise, a model simular to Gutrot that definitely fits on a 25mm base is this chaos general: http://www.games-workshop.com/de-DE/Chaosgeneral-des-NurgleBut since you play with your son "only" (that's a cool thing btw) maybe the "wrong" basesize doesn't matter much as long as you can field all the cool models? | |

| Popping onto eBay and searching for Rat Orgre should get you lots of cheap individual rat ogre options.
As for the Possessed, Gutrot does come on a 40, but he'll fit on a 25 without much problem at all. The other Blightkings would also make good Possessed. Really for them your imagination is your only limit, probably the most fun thing about that warband as far as I'm concerned.

| The chaos spawn sprue has been an inspiration to many Possessed warbands. So yes it will work.
If you are going GW, the bretonnian men at arms and archers or the Empire Archers are often featured as a base for Brethren/Dark Souls as are the Empire Flagellants.
Reaper Miniatures has many models that will work, including some nice cultists.

| I really like your choice of miniatures. While their heavy armor may be a problem for Mordheim, the twisted nature of the Skorne makes them perfect for the Dark Souls. The loveliness of the Ladies makes the perverse nature of the Dark Soul even more so. GREAT STUFF! | |

| The ones Captain Berhardt pointed out are cracking as well. I think a bit of greenstuff to create a low cut armoured breastplate or leather cloth could be an idea as well: | |

| Really? why is it every time someone posts a naked boob on the internet people have to freak out about it. Your kid will be much more hurt by the deamonface mask than a naked body /end rant | |

| Yodhrin converted some excellent brethren (from empire bowmen I believe?). I would like to try my hand at them myself when I get around to making one of those warbands. | |
