| I think you all remember my vertically challenged Van Helsing. Well, I've started working on his companions! Wilhelm Gläubig, Warrior Priest (WIP) His 'warhound', Manfred And Wilhlem (after a new coat of paint) And there's something big on my paint desk, but you'll have to wait for him... |

| Thanks, guys! Yeah...that hammer is just so over the top that I couldn't but love it And I don't even know where it comes from it must be some friend's give away. Here there is some more WIP on the Flagellants. They're just out of the box, but that kit is so good that it allowed me to replicates three characters from the infamous Ulli & Marquand strips. The Penitent Brotherhood Brother Don't-see-sin Brother Don't-hear-sin (on this one I had to clip the hears and drill small holes) Brother Don't-tell-sin Not sure about the names, as I'm translating them back from Italian can anyone help? |

| The Flagellants look suitably scary/nuts...like they were kicked out of Hell's Angels for their antisocial attitudes. AND the Burner Boys look the part. GREAT WORK! | |

| I like that you put a lot of thought into how you put your minis together. I for example only glued my five Flagellants together and was done. Also the Fanatics. Eyeryone has a torch and the Flafellant's arms really go well with the Adventurer's torsi, who would have guessed. The Ogre is really cool too, though you did miss some mould lines on the arms before painting him. | |

Thanks! Yes, when I assemble my minis I keep in mind one of the classical Greek sculpting rules: always try to contrast a resting leg with a straining arm and vice-versa and, if the model allows, tilt the torso and head accordingly. This gives the individual model a sense of motion. Then, as I always use my models in regiments for Fantasy games, I make sure that they line-up well and that the individual motion of each model flows into the motion of the next. As for the kit-bashing, all human models from GW (well except characters) are entirely compatible with each other and most of them have been at least partially designed by the Perry brothers. This means there's hardly a combination of kits that doesn't work. Mould lines...they are my pain. I guess I miss some because of a poor light arrangement on my work station. I really don't see them on the flat grey, unpainted model... |

Try the Adventurers with Marauder-arms next Thanks for that ancient Greek wisdom, it was news to me! | |

| Yeah...the marauders...still, they work well with the Catachans Infantry Squad, as just like the marauders they're over-sized. These are the only two kits that are problematic, being some of the earliest multi-part plastic kits they're out of proportion. Did anyone say Clanrats or Night Goblins |

| The Witchburners And now, let's start working on the proper Witch Hunters Some sculpting to be done for them, mostly hats, gloves and extra details to the coats, but the base will again be Empire Free Company. Stay tuned! |

| VERY NICELY DONE! Somehow Witch Hunters & torches are natural go-togethers. AND the Lads look suitably deranged. | |
