| Hey hey finally got some summer vacation and some time to continue with projects. So this will be a work in progress log of my modular board, thinking well established trading town / port at the moment. Will mostly do modular boards 300x300 mm with road parts to go in between. Currently up for some paint, got some more stuff in the carving state. | |

| Thanks guys! Problems though; how do you usually prime your foam stuff? Tried a bunch of different acrylic paint sprays but i don't think none of them really cuts it.. Gets a bit wishy washy.. | |

| I brush on a watered down black then, when dry, a white dry brush. The propellant in spray paints & finishes eats into unpainted foam. Once you have a layer of paint down, your okay to go. | |

| Some progress on the two-storey Need to do another pass on the yellow thingy, doesnt look quite right. Also need to paint up the scaffolding. Next up is the warehouse, its gonna be fixed to its 300x300 board. Thinking of giving it two layers of platforms, making it essentialy a two storey with a loft, if that makes sense.. And one of the modboards, with and alley cramped in. | |

| Very neat work looking good. I never prime, I skip straight to paint. | |

| Cheers! theomar pius: yea i switched over to the blue XPS now. That yellow stuff i used on the earlier stuff is really dense, but porous if that makes sense, so it drank paint.. | |

| I really like your stuff, especially the cobble (must be quite some work to do a whole board with this pressing technique) and the paintjob - a nice dirty yellow it is Only one thing I would have done a bit differently: Maybe you can fill the gaps between the different foam boards with some kind of putty? I guess the stuff you used for plastering could be a good product to use for gapfilling. For the cobble-bits it doesn't really matter but for the plastered parts this could be an easy to achieve improvement I guess | |

| Heh yeah i know, gonna fix the gaps. Glued it up with hot glue to tack it together and be able to paint it while the green epoxi glue cured. | |
