| Hello everyone. Glad to be here and thought I would share a bit about myself.
I am 32 years old, have played tabletop games for about 10 years now and have just recently, read last week, gotten back into Mordheim after a 6 year break. I had a Carnival of Chaos band out in the garage that needed some TLC and started looking at some sites, came across this one and bam.
I assembled the CoC band last night and primed them today. I really like the modeling aspect and consider myself to be a decent painter, though nothing special.
Look forward to this site and taking in all of the information.

| Thanks. Right now they are in the stealthy ninja paint scheme of black primer. Intend to post some before and after pics and will more than likely start to paint them tonight.

| Thanks for the welcome. I got the lads in a few minutes ago and they are all primed and ready to go. I did have a question for you seasoned vets. What size bases? I have not played in a long time and I know that there are 20mm and 25mm. Right now I have everything on 25mm as i like the extra space.
As an aside I have been looking at some of these other warbands here and wow you guys/gals have talent. Stuff looks great.

| I think the general trend is to use the equivalent warhammer sized bases. Thus: 20mm: humans, elves, skaven, dwarves, goblins, skinks, etc. 25mm: orcs, saurus, possessed, etc. 40mm: ogres, minotaurs, trolls, rat ogres, etc. This keeps the models usable for your WHFB games if cross-compatibility is desired. Unfortunately there are no official rules for Mordheim bases. I had thought that square bases were the official standard used in sanctioned Mordheim tournaments, but I learned that this was not even the case in this thread about bases. The main thing is to make sure you use the same type of bases as your opponents. If one player uses a different size or shape than his opponents, it could be problematic. | |

| Thanks. I will use the 25mm as it allows more space for the fig and make sure to use the same on other lists. I do not play WHFB so no need to put them into the other games.
