Returning To Mordheim with a couple of questions

So after a long hiatus I'm thinking about returning to Mordheim.
Been stripping my clan Pestilens miniatures and making new bases for them.

But... going through all the online info I see that there are now several versions of the rules:

Original rulebook
LRB 2.0 (as published by GW)
A community edition

Which one is the most balanced? I don't care much for the Lustria and Khemri settings BTW so I'm looking for the most balanced Mordheim string rules.

I use the rules for my Clan Pestilens warband from Town Cryer 28 are they still the most up to date rules?

I downloaded the LRB 2 version but even though part 1 says Background there is no fluff in the file. Is there somewhere I can download a PDF of all the fluff? (I sold my original rulebook once the first LRB was published)

The original printed rulebook has been slighly superseded by the rulebook PDFs that are available from the GW website. The PDFs contain some of the corrections from the rules reviews/errata. It is my recommendation not to use any community rule compilations as these have been known to contain house rules without any highlight to let people know that they are houserules. This has caused hassles for a lot of people when they ask questions on this forum about those house rules.
