PARRY AND CLOUD OF FLIES

Hi Guys,

Need your help once again, if my opponents models has the cloud of flies special rule

"The warrior is surrounded by a buzzing cloud of flies that distracts all opponents in HtH. All warriors base to base with the Hero are at -1 to hit in HtH."

with the modifier in place it goes from 4 to hit to 5 to hit. I then roll a natural six, if he tries to parry does he parry the number on the dice of the number after it is modified or would he not get a parry because i rolled a six and he can't roll higher than it?

That is how I would play it, so since you roll a natural six the opponent can not parry the attack.

The rules would support that:

Online Rule Book, p. 20 wrote:

Roll a D6. If the score is higher than the number your opponent rolled to hit, the buckler or sword has parried the strike. Note that it is therefore impossible to parry a blow which scored a 6 on the roll to hit.
