| Hi Borelings? Freshman on the forum, my first log here so be gentle I've recently quit 40k and WHFB, and decided to stick with Skirmish games. Our group has decided to start a Mordheim campaign and we need some terrain and that's what I shall be building A few months ago I also started on a 3d Quest dungeon of which I intend to post some pics here as well. So enough chatter, on to the pics. So far I've only started with an Inn Here you can see the foundation of some stairs The first floor.... still got lots to do here Stairs as viewed from First floor, with a zombie trying to figure out why there aren't any steps yet . And last a front side view of the ground floor and it's foundation I've started building a bar, there will be some stairs leading towards the front door. On the left and right side there will be piles of rubble bits of wall etc. At the back there will be a Cellar Entrance, gotta store those kegs of Bugmans somewhere. I'm low on building supplies, and have planned to visit the local hobby store tomorrow morning. stay tuned. Thanks for looking Cheers, Bra'tac | |

| Nice! I really love to see the birth of a big project. Before reality comes in the way for your visions. Looking forward of seeing the inn getting built. Very inspiring, need to start my board building again.

| Feeling your fingers is an overrated sensation...or not. Be that as it may, the building is LOOKIN' GOOD! The woodwork in particular is STUNNING. EXCELLENT PROGRESS! As of yet the multi-quote is not an option here...we're an Economy Model Forum. | |

As of yet the multi-quote is not an option here...we're an Economy Model Forum. Thanks DeafNala! I'll put some effort in multi quoting then - Godfather Viktor wrote:

Thanks Mike! It's not something I like to do, unfortunately it just makes things look so much better.... - theomar pius wrote:

Thanks Theomar pius! So a little update, I hit a snag with the Inn, the foamboard decided to WARP due to the woodwork, so I lost about all motivation.... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand forgot to take WIP pics of my other works.... However that ended today... about 75% into the next two buildings These two won't have much play-ability so they'll just have to look cool blocking LOS. And then a pic of how the Inn looks like at the moment...that's 15 KG of Dumbbell weights, keeping the foamboard in check while the Glue dries....hopefully it will stick this time, using PVA glue this time, since Hotglue failed to hold the warping foamboard. and a little sneak peak of my Marauder warband (Jarl) My warband will be based on the Vikings from the move Pathfinder (movie ain't that great, but IMHO those are the best Vikings I've ever seen) Just have to finish his shoes. thanks for looking, Cheers, Bra'tac

| Stonework is looking good, and that that bar is great! Details like that add soooo much character!
Onyl thing I'm not sold on is the roof tiling: the tiles seem like they're really big. Mostly a personal quibble though, as I know a lot of people go for bigger tiles so that making them all is less maddening.

| LOOKIN' GOOD! I was admiring you door in the Beasty Thread...looks suitably decrepit. The shingles, woodwork, &, especially, the bar have potential. GOOD WORK! I can relate with the recovery thing. Although I have no particular reason to be dazed...must be sympathetic lethargy. | |

Indeed some roof tiles are bigger then I wanted looking back at them, but i'm not really in the mood to take them of and redo it. for the next layer i've cut smaller tiles, hopefully this mix of tiles will add some character to the roof - DeafNala wrote:

Thanks Deaf! for both the props as well as the sympathy Just a little update tonight. Started working on a double door whatyamaycallit on the 2nd floor, (storage thingy) it's far from finished, need to add various details to the doors and have to unleash the dremel upon them. and since I said in my first post, that I would post some Quest terrain.... here's a WIP of the first corridor I build for Quest. Still need to glue one of the protective hardboard sides, and add another layer of filler to cover the stones (what's left of them) The tiles are 40x40mm (Monster base) I wanted to be able to fit certain monsters (minotaurs/trolls etc) next to each other on a base without them trading paint. Thanks for looking, cheers, Bra'tac
