Flipchuck's Marienburg Warband redone

Alright, it's been a long time since i posted pictures of my models. I have been busy on and off painting them. I ended up with one merc warband which is the Marienburg. I decided to paint them purple and white. I enjoyed the color scheme so much< i repainted my Empire army the same colors. All my other Merch warbands eneded up being disbanded and repainted. But I now have a lot of Marienburg models to use in my warband with lots of options and now most of my Mordheim models fit in my Empire army. Even my Witch Hunters.

Anyway some new pictures. Sorry if they dont come out all that great. Bad lighting....

Thank you. I was having problems getting some better shots. Good news is that if everything goes well, I should get a few games in with them on Saturday. Its been almost 9 months since I played a game.

Maybe i can get some pictures of them in action.

The Lads look FINE in the Group Portrait. While additional shading, high lighting, & attention to their faces would bring them to a higher level, they are an attractive gaming level War Band. The bases are really nice. GOOD WORK!

So...yeah. Game got cancelled. His wife won't him play for another month. Kinda frustrating. Hard to get a game in these days. Did managed to paint up some marksmen with crossbows. I'll post pictures when I can.

In case a marksman becomes a hero






In case a warrior or swordsman becomes a hero. I like giving them the strongman skill and combat master to start and then give him a double handed weapon. Usually becomes a killing machine.

You can easily make two Marienburg warbands from the models you have.

Thank you guys. Actually the reason why I have so many models is the fact that I like having options for upgreades for my heroes and warbands and I'm a string believer in WYSIWYG. This way when my heeroes advance and I can afford better aromur and weapons, I have models for that.

Speaking of warhammer armies, I loved my colors on my models so much, I painted my entire Empire army in the same colors and with the same cobblestone bases. This way, most of my mordheim models can still be used more often, even though I have been playing mordheim more then warhammer....

SomE good conversions here. You're of to a good start, I suggest giving the models a wash and maybe some highlights to give them some depth

I'm horrible at highlights. I'll give the wash a chance when I can. I'm just glad I have them mostly fully pinted for games.
