Possessed Beastman

I did this a few years back, I got a load of the metal beastmen so I'm going to paint up a few more to actually use them. lol

That is an OUTSTANDING piece of brushwork & basing. Your color choices are SPLENDID. VERY WELL DONE!

Since it's a finished piece, you could post it in the Gallery also if you'd like to. I have noticed that some of our Forumites tend to check out either the Gallery or the Painting & Modeling Sections, but not both. SO posting in both sections will get you a larger audience.
I tend to post in the W.I.P sections until the piece(s) is complete; then I'll post photos in the Gallery with a link to the W.I.P. for those interested in the how-to aspect.

Colours used for the metal -

VMC Red Leather
VMC Medium flesh
VMC Chocolate Brown
VMC White
I made some slight changes to the colours recommended in some tutorials as I wanted to try and get a more accurate match to the darker, older copper pieces I had seen.

Colours used for the verdigris -

VMC Andrea Blue
VGC Dark Green
I decided against using the suggested colour for the Verdigris wash as I wanted a paler, more chalky look.

Thanks guys, I never really got too far with the possessed warband as I wasn't too keen on most of the human chaos minis available at the time (I was using a lot of old realm of chaos stuff and conversions) the plastic marauders that came out a little after I started were a good alternative but I reckon with a lot of the figures and accessories available now I can make some nice characters. Now if only there was some sort of service that allowed you to buy individual parts... Maybe some sort of mail service......
