Well, I painted this halfgrown few days ago, but I forgot to show it here...
Our halfgrowns and youngbloods are not so great warriors (yet), so they don't wear shields. We thought about other ways to show that they're smaller and weaker than other ogres, but it didn't look great with orc bits (still, a few weapons from orcs will be used in this warband). We just used ogres. Halfgrowns are older, so they all will have beards. This is one of them.

That is a noticeable improvement on the flesh tones...I'm glad you weren't offended by the critique. The tattoo looks good...a FINE substitute for the "Gut Plate".GREAT WORK!  

I had wondered what folks would come up with for the "Half Grown" Ogres.

Great new addition to the warband. Will there be a group shot soon?

Brilliant work on the ogres. The highlights are spot on and the skin tones really well done.
You should be very proud for now owning such a nice group of ogres.

The Group Portrait is WONDERFUL; & the new Little Big Man is GREAT...the huge club makes him seem smaller by comparison, which helps with the "half grown" thing. His skin tones have a nice healthy glow. VERY WELL DONE!  

Thank you for the group portrait of the ogres. The newest member of the band is nicely done as well. 

Pleasure to witness you've captured a completely different vibe with the half-growns whilst still maintaining a match in the overall theme. It's like they wear billowing Arabyan silk pyjama pantaloons!

The new flesh shading is much better, for sure!
The way you paint them no uniform, the attitudes and conversions... great work!
My only regret is about the tatoos; feel free to explore a much larger part of their skin with tatoos. Ogres are one of the best way (with banners) to train a painter's freehand skills.
But, well, my favorite Ogre mini ever has no tatoo... It's possible to paint wonderful Ogres without tatoos like this one:

We've found this out in this document: http://cianty.ashtonsanders.com/blog/mordheim/mordheimhouse.pdf .

Quite a good way to distinguish between various kinds of ogres and to indicate that the younger ones don't have "large target" special rule .

FANTASTIC brushwork & basing! The skin tones are OUTSTANDING, & the details like the striped pants, all the paraphernalia, &, of course, the mushroom add WONDERFULLY to the overall effect.
