The Beginning of Pidges WAAAAAGHHH!!!!!

My next project that im currently gethering models for is going to be a orc warband, this warband seems extremly fun to play after some of the forums ive visited and what ive read about them, so far i've got a few models together and awaiting some arrivals from Ebay aswell as deciding what models would best suit those Big uns

heres what i got so far:

my orc boss which is the 2007 games day model, i particularly liked the snotling imitating his pose so i had to get him!
my shaman which is the typical orc shaman



one of my two fanatic's accompanied by my troll (i thought the river troll model would suit mordheim, because he's got a fish )



hopefully this weekend i should get my hands on some gobo's, im keeping my eyes peeled for squigs on ebay, aswell as a few more snotlings to be used as butlers/bodyguards for my heroes

No offence, but I never understood the presence of Orcs & Goblins in Mordheim. Somehow I feel they are out of place in the cursed city, which is traditionally the territory of men and chaos and beasts.

That said, I spot some lovely old models that make me reminiscent of the days I got into the Warhammer hobby

That old orc shaman model must be one of my all time favs. It never goes out of style IMO!

Lion01: Isn't the fluff that the greenskins think that Mordheim is a battlearena staged by Gorm and Mork or somesuch? I know I read some fluff somewhere that actually made it pretty believable
The elf warbands, however, that just doesn't cut it for me

Three squigs which took Forever to remove the old paint off, afterwards they had a little trip to the dentist to get their teeth picked clean

NICE BASING! AND the Squigs look pretty snazzy...the orange one in particular;I like his gums. GREAT WORK!

i really enjjoyed painting the squigs, found them to be very quick to do and the results were quite satisfying the orange one was the first i painted, the pink one i thought was quite cool, think the red wash skip lent me worked out pretty well

oh I like thos squigs! I especially like the fact that you've painted each one a different flamobyant colour!
such a refreshing change from the usual red/orange squig herd.
though I would suggest thinning your wash a little with water, it looks like the wash was on to thick.
an extra highlight of the original colour wouldn't hurt either
