Ye Desert Brawl (Cont'd)The battle on the cliff continues. Mad Babiars charges the Maneater! WS2 Babiars discovers the Maneater is WS5. In return the Maneater discovers Babiars is S5, T5! A stalemate ensues.
With Dark Elves on the way, the Nomads get serious about eliminating the flanking Brethren.
The Merry Maids begin a re-enactment of Little Round Top and Little Big Horn.
The Maneater's stunned body falls over the cliff. The other T5 ogre is finally overcome by a pack of Nomad henchmen and Hired Swords.
The Devils realize that the Maids are finished. The Devils head back toward the Nomads.
The Last Flagellant makes a desperate charge against the Buccaneer's Captain.
The Nomads redeploy to meet the combined attack from the Devils and Dark Elves.
Off camera: Vigor is filled full of Silver Arrows then blinded by the Witch of Ghut. The Dark Elves save the brute by stunning the Witch. Vigor takes Healing Herbs and is All Better. Curses!
The Witch is Down! And Hounds come to play.
Meanwhile off to the west, the Buccaneers are down to 4 survivors. The Carpet is Out of Control! The Blunderbuss Witch Hunter leaps from the Carpet only to land poorly...
A pesky Elf dispatches the Witch Hunter while the bloody, exhausted Chaos Magister drags himself to the grounded Carpet. (It crashed into that boulder.) Playtable is so happy to finally capture one of the Carpets that he can't keep the camera still.
The Hunters mostly ignored the Devils as long as there were Maids to fight, but they charge right in to Dark Elves!
Which doesn't end so well...
In the east, the surviving Hound charges Amra, who is afraid...
This Brethren had sniped at the pirates for the whole game. The Pistolier Buccaneer ends that.
The Devils arrive! Mad Babiars saves Abu from the Beastman!
T5 or not, WS2 Babiars is no match for both Vigor and Redrum.
A View to a Kill--the Hunters are wiped out (except the Maneater). The 3 Buccaneers are hiding behind the cliff. Haroum jumped down into the canyon when the Maneater climbed back up. There are 13 Nomads left, Vigor, Redrum and the Magister are still standing for the Devils and there were 6 or 7 Dark Elves.
We fought until Store Closing (about 4 hrs.) No real winner [except me
]
ALL of the Hunters recovered from their wounds! A couple of Buccaneers died. The Maneater shot one of my handgunners to death. The Devils lost a Beast and the annoying spearman. Babiars got ROBBED!
