| Hi guys! So.. I changed warband (again!) a while ago, but this time I will finish this warband, promise! Anyway, I'm starting an Ostlander warband. Last week I recieved a package from DeafNala, it included a lot of awesome (Ostlander!) miniatures, they're all very useful for my warband. I'd like to thank DeafNala once again! Cheers mate! Okay, onto the picture(s). These are some of the mini's I got from Nala; Some of the parts from the Priest of Taal are still blu-tacked, because I can't decide which head and right hand he's going to get! I'm also planning to buy some Empire Archers to use as Jaegers, they fit perfectly into the warband! Here's the list I'm going to use in Tagnator's campaign. No Ogre unfortunately, I wanted numbers instead. But no fear, I will hire one once I got the GC's for it! - Spoiler:
HEROES
Elder [95gc] / Double-handed Sword, light armour, free dagger.
Priest of Taal [58gc] / Sword, hammer, free dagger.
Blood Brother [60gc] / Pistol, sword, free dagger.
Blood Brother [70gc] / Pistol, sword, free dagger, lantern
HENCHMEN
2x Jaegers [70gc] / Bows, free daggers.
1 Jaeger [80gc] / Blunderbuss, helmet, free dagger.
2x Kin [66gc] / Maces/hammers, shields. TOTAL: [499gc]
I also haven't decided on the bases yet.. I was thinking of normal "Admin Tom pattern bases", or more EIF like bases... hmmm what to do?! Comments and input are appreciated as usual! Rens.

| It was my pleasure to be of some small assistance. Watching these little metal lads turn in to works of art is far better than having them languishing in a plactic storage case. | |

| Thanks for the replies guys! Alright, I finally decided to post this big fella up. I want to enter this model to the Golden Tom, so I wasn't sure I was allowed to show it. But then; this is a competition with a judge, not a competition where the members can be the judge - so I think I'm safe! At the moment, he already received some details, and got a white primer layer.. but then I remembered the reason why I never used the white undercoat - it's too darned difficult! So I think I'll give him a Chaos Black coat soon. C+C is appreciated as usual! | |

| THAT is one NASTY LOOKING OGRE! I MOST definitely would not like to be the chap that fired AND missed with those arrows! The fabrication of the Axe & Hammer is just fantastic [wasn't Fearless Leader Tom, Light of Sigmar, holding that Hammer in a previous Avatar? ]! Today's Dumb Question: Do you have him on a 50mm square base rather than the more usual 40mm square?

| I like the Imperial look to that ogre. Very reminiscent of the 4th Ed ogre models which I still love. For the Priest of Taal, how about an animal skin over his head? Taal is a nature god and his priests are often set tasks of hunting a wild animal with a hand made axe. The fur of the defeated baest would keep him warm on the trip back. | |

| Thanks guys! So... finally... an That's right! I started working on my Ostlanders again! I didn't have any motivation to finish my warband in ages, until I heard of the Big Meet up in Amsterdam! So, basically, my starting warband is fully assembled at the moment. With some minor conversions left (the Jaegers with Bows both need an axe attached, and glue the Owl onto the Priest's shoulder. ) Here is my warband in it's current state. And from another angle..I'm also going to work on some recruitments for the meeting. I have some idea for a Ruffian, and I will finish my Ogre and maybe even an extra Jaeger with Bow and Axe! Also, here's an updated version of my starting warband list. For the big meeting! - Spoiler:
HEROES
Elder [ 75gc] / Double-handed Sword, free dagger.
Priest of Taal [ 58gc] / Sword, hammer, free dagger.
Blood Brother [ 60gc] / Pistol, sword, free dagger.
Blood Brother [ 60gc] / Pistol, sword, free dagger.
HENCHMEN
2x Jaegers [ 80gc] / Bows, axes, free daggers.
1 Jaeger [ 70gc] / Handgun, sword, free dagger.
2x Kin [ 66gc] / Maces/hammers, shields, free daggers.
1 Ruffian [ 30gc] / Axe, free dagger. total: [499gc]
C&C is highly appreciated, as usual!

| Very nice looking warband. And a good idea for a starting warband! But you spent some gc in a ligh armour and other things that I would use for recruit a ruffian.Yes , they have a poor character, but they're very usefull for that fear-causing beasts and delay enemy's atack(they never retreat, so that means that you can charge to 2 miniatures at the same time alone) and with a bit of luck you can get some advantage for getting some wirdstone. They're the best guys for been "sacifice" for protecting other expensive guys like jaeggers or heroes.Because you always can find some crazy drunks in mordheim. | |

| Looks great!
I'd be interested in seeing some closeups of the priest of taal. I always love seeing different people's variants on that model. I really like how you removed his pointy-cowl. That didn't seem to fit a nature-priest at all. | |
