Bestiary (WARNING: Some Nudity)

In this topic I will include the miniatures I will paint for my Bestiary.

I begin with a female half orc (I think I will use she like an orc or a marauder)

I'm faithful to the original background, when orcs didn't reproduced with spores, so there were many half orcs too.



I modified a barbarian miniature from Laughing Monk (Shadowforge). I simple included a new right hand with axe, a pair of fangs (with green stuff) and some severed heads.

She is a BEAUTY! Laughing Monk makes some VERY COOL stuff. The Babe is very nicely converted, & your brushwork is OUTSTANDING. VERY WELL DONE!

YES!!! Good for you! That spore thing is one of the stupidest inclusions in G.W.'s background fluff & certainly one of their more annoying ideas...the designers must have bought into that "found in a cabbage patch" idea heavily as boys, & not quite given up on it.

With those highlights, I can imagine that mini standing out on the gaming table. I love your greens and your metallics are spot-on!

Thanks. It's nice to paint some new miniatures for Mordheim. I think the bestiary is fine to do more paint jobs and use these miniatures in the game.

How forget the Fimirs of the old Warhammer too? There are some profiles to use them like monsters in Mordheim (or a warband too)? I always liked them... but they vanished from Warhammer World...

Here sone old miniatures I painted about three years ago. The original idea was to use these miniatures in Hero Quest (see the tuypical HQ bases), but now I could use them in Mordheim:





The three succubes have a simple paintjob. I could consider to include more highlighting one day or later.

The Evil Chicks are really quite striking; their skin coloration is BEAUTIFUL. VERY WELL DONE!
Being able to return to a piece & bring it up to our current standards is one of the pluses of our craft. Of course, the Lasses look pretty darned good right now.

Erm, your bestiary is comprised soly of female models. No men in your bestiary?

The men will arrive soon. Actually I painted only the female Half Orc and the succubes were old models.
My idea is to paint some marauders, orcs, demons, beastmen and more... but I must admit that is easier to paint some female miniatures

Excellent, I will paint three fimirs from Blood Moon Miniature, they will be excellent monster ecounters for "empire in flames" supplement.

Here my new miniature:

a female beastman ungor. She will be part of a group of three ungors.

Next time I will paint the three fimirs, so I will do some male subject finally

For my monster ecounters (in Mordheim and Empire in flames scenarios) I could use:
Orcs & Goblins, Chaos Marauders, Beastmen, Wolves, Werewolves, bandits (Empire in flames)
Possessed, Demons, Mutants, Giant Rats, Skavens, Sigmarite Sisters (?), Spawn

The Beasty Babe painted up to be a BEAUTY...all things considered. VERY WELL DONE!

Here my Fimir Warriors:

The Fimir are one of those ranges of minis that only became appealing years after they went out of production. One of the Fellows on L.A.F. has quite an attractive array of the Beasties & more underway. I love the skin tones you chose. VERY WELL DONE!

Here my slaanesh daemonettes:

COOL; I don't recognize any of the mini...seeing new stuff is always a treat. The Ladies(?) are LOVELY. I love the vivid colors & your brushwork is up to your normal high standards. VERY WELL DONE!

The miniatures are from Gamezone Miniatures. A spanish producer that have a huge range of miniatures with a warhammer style. I suggest it

I will create all the demons of the three Dark Gods. Next miniature I will paint is the spawn for my tzeentch warband and later I will paint some marauders for the bestiary.

Here some Chaos Marauders: A Khorne warrior and a Slaanesh warrior.

The minis are COOL...a rather unusual pose for the Chaos Chick...AND the brushwork is SUPERB. VERY WELL DONE!
