High Elf Army- WIP

Travis pulled me aside this afternoon to show me the High Elf mage and general he's been working on the last couple of days. Thought I'd share:

This is the Standard Bearer for the Spearmen unit I've been working on last week. I'm really happy with his work on the banner!

Lastly are the Archers in the big block I just finished. Travis has just this banner and 2 more characters to go, and I have the chariots, which won't take that long. We've really been turning some heads at the store, and it's been pretty exciting!

INCREDIBLE PROGRESS...looks like you're going to make your dead line. It's easy to understand the attention your pieces are getting. The Mage, General, & Banner look fine; everything goes together perfectly.
What are you planning on doing with the bases?

Tony is working on the bases. He's become a big fan of the GW basing paints, and he's really good with flocking. He's got about 50 or so models based already, but he lives about 40 miles from the store, so he's not always able to get to the store as often as we are.

I can relate; my not-so-local games store is in Austin...130 miles round trip from here.

UPDATE: With just a few days left on our intended goal, I am happy to say we have done it! Here's a couple of pics of our finished works, with a few more on the way as soon as we can. We'll be taking pictures of the whole army soon, but I am VERY proud of what we managed to accomplish.

VERY WELL DONE! That is a FINE Elven Band...AND that comes from a Goblin Guy. The standard in the bottom photo looks TERRIFIC...a closeup might be in order. The bases look good; they enhance the minis without drawing attention away from them.

The Vertically Challenged Slayers in the bottom photo are COOL. Is this the start of your next project?

Thanks Deaf! We'll be doing some more photos really soon. I appreciate the compliments and encouragement here on the forums. It's definitely been challenging to get these done on time, but good feedback is always helpful!

We're still putting content into the site, but we're already able to take and process orders.

I'm not sure about the Dwarf Slayers. They do look good, but I haven't heard of any Dwarf projects as of yet. Travis and I have tons of loose minis needing to get finished, but I believe our next project is for 40K. Anyways, I'll put up more pics in this thread as soon as I get them. Travis is kind of our "Ace in the hole" for detail work, and Tony and I both believe that he'll win Golden Demon at some point.

We've got our first battle done with the new High Elf Army, and so far the attention we've gotten from it is very promising! Here's a few pics of a 2400 point army using what we've painted.

These pics were taken with my phone, so the quality isn't quite as good, but we'll have more professional pictures done soon; possibly this weekend. Anyways, we've also got some video battle reports coming soon on the website, involving my Warriors of Chaos Army against Tony's Vampire Counts Army, and Tony using the new High Elves against Bobby using Tony's VC army!

Thank you! I think it sets them apart from a lot of the other armies I've seen.

It really does, it fits perfect with the elves.

Pulling another thread-o-mancy. I cobbled together a photo-box using some new methods I discovered not too long ago, and I decided to take some new pics of the High Elves we did this last summer. The army hasn't sold yet, but we figure these new pics detailing our work will help out with that! (LOTS of pics!)
