| Looking awesome!
Man, you work fast too!
Is it me, or is Grippenheim considerably smaller in extension than Dunbrough?
Also, is it early days or have you thought about who the inhabitants might be? Elves? Viking type of people? What about the architectural style(s)? Is it going to differ a lot from what you've been doing so far?

| Yeah, it's going to be quite a bit smaller. Dunbrough that I built would just be a small portion of that city, Grippenheim will be the whole thing. I'm really thinking Imperial types for the townsfolk, but who knows for sure. As for the buildings, I'd like more stone, they will have to be tall and skinny to fill out the city. And an onion dome church. | |

| VERY COOL STUFF! I shutter to think what you could crank out if you could work on it full time. Everything has such an abundance of potential, although the pedestal/statue in particular has captured my imagination. GREAT WORK! | |

| Theomar You never stop to amaze me ! Such a character I think will have this "little" island with reenforced masonry walls. I love an idea to mockup first,to feel and look at concept or the project, because sometimes it could bring up some more ideas how to improve original thought to the new heights, nicely exposed here. Ooooo,I don't want to play anymoreeee! You are sooo god,it can not be better than this ! Apart of great city of Dunbrugh, ( even though just one city block I imagine) now You will create the whole thing! No words,no words, just DEEP BOW to You my Magistrate! Because You may have that prestige tittle/titul of Magistrate,You,and small group of members of this lovely forum, can and I hope will correct and guide the rest of us time to time when we make some mistakes or we do not have fresh ideas how to forge thoughts in to reality (some cool scenery for example). I just love the statue with those circular shape on top (though I do not know what will that become because it looks like a fountain of some sort, or it is just my imagination ), and how You create acropolis walls with such ease, ( acropolis would mean island with vertical masonry edges/walls). And oh boy ,You Really work fast ! Will the river herself have possibility to play on or it will be just eye-catch wonderful water effect? Will You consider an idea to construct a small docks on riverbanks and somewhere on island for small flotilla of row boats (or hollow tree trunks ). Usually,You tend to create game board/scenery which posses the possibility to play on whole surface, and because of that I imagined that the river will be playable also ( forgive me if I expect to much from You, because it is a truth ). Although the idea itself to have river splitting in two waterways, and the river island sitting in the middle, embraced with that two "watery arms" is a MIGHTY ONE Stop me now PLEASE SALUTE | |

| It reminds me of a W.I.P. piece I had to leave behind when I moved from Long Island to Texas; for some odd reason this makes your latest Project even more appealing for moi. It is FANTASTIC looking already with incredible potential. Keep up the WONDERFUL WORK & make a Old Man happy! | |

| Yeah, it's just such a pain in the neck to buy sheets of foam, I drive a hatchback, I have to cut it up just to get it in the car. This old project has tons of foam that's never going to be used, so I'll strip it out of here. | |

| Man this is looking awesome! Grippenheim promises to be a great project especially since you're not shy of using fantasy elements in it. How did you carve the styrofoam "hills" so nicely? | |

Those cliff faces are a pretty simple technique, if you have thumbs of iron. I score the foam over and over and over with a sharp x-acto, and then I break the foam off with my thumb. Scores of different depths gives the foam a broken granite look, or eroded rock face. Hurts the thumb though, breaking the foam off. | |

| I don't blame the statue; my knees would be like that if I had to hold all that weight on my arms. This is indeed an epic project, also because you're focusing so much attention and detail to the foundations as opposed to just produce a simple, flat board. I'll keep tuned in, for sure! Joao | |

| Not a whole lot to show this week, I’m still trying to get used to my new job. I made a double arch bridge, and began laying out where the waterfalls will go. in the next few days I’m planning on making a small watchtower to guard the river crossing. | |

| It would be cool to make one gate of the city goes down under the waterfall! Did you carve the stones on the bridge or you glued then on, cause it looks great?! | |
