Okay. I found here a topic with a lot of interesting female minis. I used this topic to choose some babes for my warbands.
This kind of topic seems to be usefull.
So, I decided to create a "CITIZEN MINIATURES" topic to share all the minis we know that should be used like unarmed citizen in a medieval city... a city like Mordheim before the comet crash!

I begin with some LEAD ADVENTURE minis on this page: http://www.lead-adventure.com/index.php?cPath=22
Like these ones:

Err... citizens?

Not to forget our dear GW with those ones:

HASSLEFREE (http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/range.php?range_id=27&subcat_id=66), with this?

... or maybe BLACK CAT BASES ones? (http://blackcatbases.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=437_457&sort=20a&page=5)

... your turn, I'm tired with CTRL+C / CTRL+V! Elf

Great topic and great tips. I have some of the above miniatures and they really add loads of character to your town or village.

Here are some others:

Alionas

Blue Moon Manufacturing

Foundry

More packs from Foundry

Games Workshop - Frenzied Mob, precisely for Mordheim.

Gripping Beast - These are more historical than anything else, but still good models.

Megaminis - don't let the dodgy paintjob trick you. Some of these models are actually very good.

Reaper Miniatures - they have some great looking civilians in their collection.

Reaper Henchman - I love this little one in particular.

West Wind Productions - They have other ranges related to horror, but with several options for civilians.

There lots other companies out there (fortunately) making civilians and I'm sure our forum fellows will add more links and pictures of their findings.

Thanks JOAO... Foundry seems to show some pieces made for me.
Reaper too!
How is the quality of those 2 products?

I dunno about Foundry, but i have good experience with Reaper products Smile Especially the Warlord series. It scales quite perfectly with GW's models.

The Perry brothers also makes a bunch of civilians, like these:

Great! I wasn't aware of the Perry civilians!

HellspawN, Foundry and Reaper are proper quality. They perfectly suit 28mm scale. Some will be taller than others, but I like that; it adds variety and realism. We're not all the same height or weight in real life. Smile

Joao

P.S. I'll post some pictures of different ranges as soon as I can so you can have a comparison.

And, of course, Pro Gloria Miniatures!

By the way, any idea of who sells these wonderful models here in the UK?

OK, so they don't have a representative in the UK. That' not a problem.

Bad news is that I can see already how much money I'll be spending in the next few months... Mad

You've got quite a list of minis to choose from. For some inspiration on what to do with them once obtained, check out Prof. Witchheimers thread on L.A.F....27 pages of inspiration (the later pages have more in town photos:

You're right DeafNala. That thread is quite something else! It definitely gave me loads of ideas for my own town and civilians. Speaking of which, I should get those West Wind guys:

I picked up that set awhile ago; you get quite a few cool minis, all different (i.e., no duplicates) for a very reasonable amount of money. Although they may be a tad larger than G.W.'s, I'd highly recommend them. clown
