Here be Pirates. Yarrr!

That's right, a duplicate of my Pirate topic in the futuristic section...

Why? Because in the grim darkness of the far future, there is only Yarrrrr

The Ork race for example has their fair share of Freebooters, Orks who shunned their original klan and decided to go off and heve some fun on their own.

All the loot is of course spent on guns with more dakka, more boom and more general snazzyness.

And here you can see some specimens of those Ork Pirates in Space :

The Green Lads of 40K are EVEN COOLER than their Fantasy counter parts. I like your color choices; the brush work & basing look GREAT...VERY WELL DONE!
They'd work well in the Death Squad game.

What DeafNala said! The 40K bunch offers so much more variety in poses, heads, weapons, etc.

The Big Fella (well, he had to be big, innit?, him being da bossman amongst bossmen) is made from a plastic Ogre (Ogre Kingdoms) with an Ork Nobs' head

These are great. I love the obese one especially. I might build a similar model myself. Great work. Thanks for sharing the greens!

Any tips for making the jackets? I love the flow you have in yours. I find sculpting free hanging jackets quite tricky. Any tips would be appreciated.

Orks In Space offers a lot of options for the more imaginative modelers...you've found a home. The pirate hat, watch cap, & bionic eye are nice touches. Have FUN with the painting.
