Another quick one to go along with the adhesive question,

What do you guys use to cut your polystyrene or foam board? I bought 2" foam board and my box cutter/ Xacto knives blades are just too small in length to get through the whole board, I was wondering if anyone knew of a "longer" blade that could go right thru.

Thanks again,
-Hank

I bought one made by Woodland Scenics several years ago.
Comes with long replaceable blades that are several inches long.

I use either a jeweler's saw/back saw, or one of those retractable box cutters. For areas like door & window openings where a smooth finish is needed, I heat the knife blade over a candle. What a Face

I have a selection of box cutters, exacto knifes and saws. Mostly I use an OLFA brand heavy duty box cutter. The extended blade is at least 3" long and about 3/4" wide.

I also have what we used to call a keyhole saw, no idea what the proper name is. Just a long multi-purpose saw blade on a handle. I have one that allows for interchangeable blades like a reciprocating saw. Handy, but not for smooth cutting. If I want a smooth, square cut I use a table saw.
