Pictureframe´s á la Absurdistan

Hej everybody, had some spare greenstuff at the ready yesterday night, and , here it is, my first frame for mordheimian artwork, maybe i ´ll do some more, its fun!
Its exactly this what makes a good scenery ( my humble opinion ) , extra accesories for extra charakter and life in town, well, maybe mutated life, but hey, thta´s mordheim! Enjoy and please comment!

OOH, VERY COOL...I really like that. The frame & the picture look TERRIFIC...the black background makes it look, at first glance, like its suspended in mid air. VERY WELL DONE!

I agree that it is the little embellishments that make the buildings/gaming boards special. It also is the reason that a gaming board is never really finished; i.e., there is always something more to add/tweak/modify.

Nice work on the frame. Props are everything, as some director once said to me. Love the atmosphere of the photo as well.

That's really nice work there. It gave me an idea, too. you should make the next painting twisted and mutated as the taint of chaos affects even the artwork of the cursed city.

The idea of M&M is great. a picture where suddenly tentacle break through, Or an endless stream of corrupted water is flowibg out of the picture generating a pond/lake.

Your love for details is insane. In a very positive way.

The frame looks great, and it is details like that that make a model pop.

thanks guys, i´ve allready made 3 more frames, just going to cast them in resin, to work on the edges a bit, make new masters and then you´ll see, maybe a week more or so, stay tuned, flodebolle!

Wow really nice funny ive been making framed paintings recently aswell you inspired me to try and make one with gs aswell if it works out i might show it here not too well trained in using gs..

VERY NICELY DONE! those really are fine little accent pieces..it's touches like these that make scenery pieces live.

Very nice work. As everybody says: those little details help to bring a piece of terrain to live.
Do you mind giving some hints on how to make these frames (what tools do you use, how do you make them)?

glad you like ´em, and its quite easy, well, you need greenstuff, a dental tool and a bit routine on handling 2k puttys.What helped me a lot is the fact that i build frames since iam 15, so quite some years of experiance on how frames can look like, but thats not essantial.
Just keep those 90 degree angles, and remember that you also could work with milliput white instead, has the advantage that it can be sanded afterwards.
