Anyone convert Mordheim to LOTHS/LOTOW rules?

I recently picked up LOTHS and really like the flow of the rules. They just seem a lot less creaky than Mordheim in a lot of ways. I also would relish the opportunity to make a clean break from a lot of things that were holdovers from Warhammer but didn't make any sense in the context of a small scale skirmish game. Has anyone had any success trying to convert Mordheim? I've done an online search but really just come up with people talking about it, no printed rules.

Not really. I bought the book when I was near finished with the Sartosa campaign, in case it had anything I could use. It was really fun, but not quite the same game. More or less, it influenced me for a few scenarios (ex. the Find the X version of Treasure Hunt.) Ironically, some of the scenarios I'd come up with, like Governor's Daughter, were already IN the LOTHS book!

I have the book but I haven't tried to convert Mordheim to use the LotHS rules. I think that it would be quite a big undertaking.

I actually had thought of converting some of the additional rules (e.g. ship combat) from LotHS to Mordheim before I discovered Warhammer AHOY! (but alas I am now getting off topic).

Could youplease explain LOTHS/LOTOW?

I am not familar with these abrevations.

LotHS = Legends of the High Seas.
LotOW = Legends of the Old West.

These are two Warhammer Historical publications for independent skirmish games for pirates (the former) and cowboys (the latter).

LotHS is fine and it (together with LotOW) definitely both simpler than Mordheim and that can be seen as a positive. I enjoy Mordheim though because it is a bigger game (obviously this is personal taste as has been discussed in other threads). Adding Warhammer AHOY! rules to Mordheim though has given me the pirate fix that I needed which I had hoped LotHS would provide. The rulebook for LotHS is now gathering dust here.

I haven't played LotOW but I believe that the game mechanics are quite similar (LotHS may have been based on LotOW).

Are there the playable miniatures number higher than with Mordheim?

because i am searching for a rule set like warhammer Skirmish but with more character than Warhammer Skirmish, just like Mordheim.

Warband sizes are similar if not smaller than Mordheim. Many of the mechanics are very similar except combat and shooting which are taken from the Lord of the Rings game,

I prefer Mordheim although as both LotHS and LotOW go out of print the amount of player created material will increase.

Hmm maybe when GW updates Mordheim they will use the Lotr rules too.

Maybe GW thinks of skirmish rules in this way.
