| Well, well, well, what do we have here?
Blood in Walderhof is a War Hammer campaign set for release in 2012 at a yet unknown date. As the First forum I ever joined, I feel it's only right that you guys get a sneak peak before the rest.
The Setting: It's the year 2012IC. As Mordheim crumbles more and more; as the Three Emperors bicker, a new conflict is brewing. As Waldenhof recovers from an attack from the Vampire known a Luthor Kreldnich, a lesser vampire lord in the service of the von Carsteins, and it's Lord, Frisrich is laid to rest. Johan Gussenburg becomes it's Steward until a new leader can be chosen, as Witch Hunter Lord Marius Darakhein leads his hunter South after the man known as the False Prophet and his followers. Luthor makes a bit for Waldenhof one last time, the stage is set for one of the greatest play ever told....
Factions: The Union of Wolfenburg: Founded in 2000IC, just after the comet hit Mordheim, by angry Sigmarites and other holy men hcarged out of Wolfenburg ( The city named after the first Witch Hunter, Wolfgart Kreiger), Lead by Lord Darakhein and in to Ostermark, purging as they went until they reach Mordheim at which point it might as well have been open war on the city. For the last 12 years they have purged and purified (some say murdered and desroryed) Mordheim with no real gain and just random hags to burn.
That was until The False Prophet showed up...
NOTES: As a member of the Union or their allies you have the task of purging evil from the world by any means necessary although your mission is to track down The False Prophet and but the mad man out of his misery! If that mean a few poor souls have to die so be it!
The Dispossessed: Father Karl Ruger was one of Mordheim's leading priests until the comet hit. Many in the city Karl had fallen from grace before the bang; so much so that when the blast hit the already unhinged (nobody who lives in a corrupt city is not) priest was driven fully insane. So much so that he saw the comet as a sign from Sigmar!
Through the ruined streets he preached; saying that he had had dreams from Sigmar that the dietruction of Mordheim had been a punishment not to Mordheim, but to the Empire. That due to their constant hate towards each other, Sigmar had taken away one of the Empire's greatest cities. To restore it, they, as the people of Mordheim, had to burn down the capitals of the Three and kill the Emperors.
As the Union heard of this, Lord Darakhein sent his best to purge the Mad Priest and bring about the death of his cult. In a large street brawl, the huge bands met in a orgy of blood and death with Karl and his people on the losing side. Now fleeing south, they are on a smack dab course for Waldenhof with the Hunters on their tails...
NOTES: As a member of Karl's cult you are tasked with bringing Sigmar's wrath upon your fellow man no matter how wrong Karl may be. You may not like it, but you feel compelled to do so; for how can the Great Karl, Mordheim's greatest be wrong?
The Host of Bones: Meanwhile Luthor muster's his hordes of zombies and skeletons and those stupid enough to serve him for a final attack on Waldenhof; his anger slowly growing at his delays...
NOTES: As a vampire, necromancer or one of the less then noble allies, in Luthor's host you have the task of disturbing the graves of the dead and raising them up for battle once more. How you do this is up to you, but know that the blood of the people of Waldenhof will flow.
The Waldenhof Watch: In his heavy tower on the very peak of Waldenhof's town hall Steward Gussenburg broods and looks over his city looking to it's rebuilding and it's defense against the horrors of the old night and other scum such as looters.
NOTES: As a member of the City Watch, it's militia or one its noble families, hopefully, you won't end up maggot food....
Army lists coming soon mates!

| @Plutz: It's an online campaign mate! Anyone from anywhere can sign up! So yes you can!
@Deaf: Great! I need all the help I can get. As an honorary campaign team member you really don't have to do much except be a fat cat and paw at people who get out of line in their posts (i.e., racist remarks, bad mouthing other players etc)
The campaign won't start until Animosity 6 and Warhammer Empire's campaign Empire of Wolves are done (as I will be campaigning in the both of them) and the forums will be up about maybe a month or two before it starts. | |
