Plutz's Grey Brotherhood

Recently I bought a bunch of used Goblins. It consisted of a unit from the Battle for Skull Pass set and the troll, 10 already build wolf riders (sadly he put glue all over them so they are getting serious GS work to hide his bad job) some fanatics and a unit of Night Goblins with only a couple built. So of course while I put together my army which will be a confederacy of different Goblin tribes I threw together a warband as part of it. Here it is in its completed stage besides one member needing basing and the fanatic needing to be stripped and re painted (he is only a placeholder until I make a crazed over the top Mordheim fanatic.

First off is Warboss Shiny Eye.



Then the Shaman Doomface casting a spell.



Then two bosses, one with a club and another with sword.



Then the other two bosses, Crook Nose with his spear and loot bag and a boss with a bow.



Here are the first two henchmen, Night Goblin warriors.



The third Night Goblin Warrior who is also a regiment champion in the army. My best friend plays Bretonnians and one of his Knights of the Realm units is done up as Teutonic Knights, he has stolen part of a shield to use.



Lastly the placeholder fanatic that needs to be repainted.



and as a bonus my veteran against the Bretonnians musician.

These are very nice. I don't know how I missed this thread. I love Night Goblins and I like what you've done with these. The gray seems perfect for Mordheim. I especially like the Hero with the broken Bretonian shield.

VERY COOL! You must have done something right... the new Goblins look much better than the unpainted ones I've seen would have led me to believe. Shiny Eye & Doom Face are especial nice looking...love the spell effect. WELL DONE!

It's a matter of timing. I've found that my posts on Fridays & Saturdays can go unnoticed for quite awhile. Posting on a week day normally draws a faster response. We must have a fairly large party people contingent.

Good looking models all in all! Are you using them as stand in orks or which list are they from?

Will be using them as Night Goblins. Haven't tried the list yet but we will see. They are also a part of a bigger all goblin army (though I may make a unit of heavily armoured goblins and play them as black orcs). I'm not really one to focus on the win more just enjoy playing a silly game, that being said playing a 500 point battle against the bretonnians and winning (mainly thanks to the shaman obliterating six knights of the realm in one go and thus routing the unit) felt good!

VERY COOL! I also have an all Night Goblin Army...since they've never faced an opponent, I can honestly say they have never tasted defeat. If you'd care to post them in the Fantasy Shout Out Section, I, for one, would love to see them.

It is still very much a WIP. Bought used BFSP goblins, some already built wolf riders (badly build so lots of GS being added to hide the crapness) the BFSP troll and an unbuilt (mainly) regiment of NG. Ultimately it won't all be NG but for now it is as thats what I have. I'll get photos of it now and post them in the fantasy section.

Sure do! Once those armoured gobbos are up and running I will make a warband of them using your uber gobbo rules.
