WIPs

As far as the Mini is ready and therefore better pictures are needed. In order to fulfill her role as scout I have kept the painting in greens and earth tones. Her sword has already started to rust. The white strand of hair is not just a coincidence. So all 5 mercenaries are ready and I can paint the bases.

OUTSTANDING WORK! The Buxom Ranger turned out even better than I'd anticipated. Your FINE brushwork & eye for colors made the mini.

Sadly I can't post the big update, which I would like to show, but at least something. The freelancers shield. Background of the freelancer is the destroyed Principality of Solland and in the Bitzbox I found this more than a matching shield for him. So the next post will be in the gallery and then I have to change the bases of the Ostländer and the Norse. ( oh man I already hate this work)

VERY NICE! The Sun symbol is one of my favorite bits of heraldic imagery.  

It is been a while since I posted an update. But here it is the Balewolf. I realy love this minitaure. I don't know if I should like the skin and maby will repaint it in the end. But so far I think it is an good start.



Oh, I even managed to paint an Ogre for the Ostländer Warband. But since he is finished I will post him in the Gallery.

It's good to see you're still with us, smile! The Balewolf look TERRIFIC. That's the first one I've seen getting some attention. Mine got traded away without ever escaping his blister. The colors you've chosen fit the Beast perfectly. GREAT WORK!

Thanks for the kind comments and I have to say it is nice to be back in this forum. It's like meeting friends you haven't seen for a long time ore being home again.

A minor update on the Balewolf. I added a final layer on the skin, painted the scars and blood and worked on its mouth. The last think is the basecoat for its bones, claws ect.

The Balewolf is turning out very nicely, great looking base for him too. Love that model and would like to get one for the scenario. Thanks for sharing!

The Bale Beasty is coming along in FINE fashion. Keep up the GREAT WORK!

I just managed to repaint the tongue (a neverending story of repainting this model) and painting the jaw and the other boneparts.



The next step will be to paint the chains, the nose and to fix some mistakes and than I can do the base.

That is a SPECTACULAR creation. The lower jaw looks TERRIFIC in bone. The new shade on the tongue is OUTSTANDING. AND, lest I forget again, I LOVE the way you did the eyes. FANTASTIC WORK!

Oh I also want to see that badass in a game, but you need at least tow of them (one for each player).
And I have to say that I did not post any of my Mordheim stuff on Tabletopwelt. There is just one german forum I am posting this stuff and I have to say it's a one man show.

The Balewolf is finished and here are the next tow Hired Blades. The Trollslayer and the Halfling scout.

Two excellent minis. I've never seen the right one, where is it from?

I think this is a Halfling from Harlequin or Blacktree Design. I bought it togethe with the Avaland Halflings and the one from Warhammer Quest.

With des Slayer and Halfling done I started to paint my Witch Hunter Warband. And today I found some time to paint the dogs . This is already the second attempt to paint them ( it seems to be a bad habit that I need to paint minis principle twice so they look for something ), I am quite happy with the coat of the Mastiffs and it only need be done the teeth, gums and collars . The bases are painted once all models of the gang are ready to keep them consistent.

The second try does it; that is an EXCELLENT choice of colors. GREAT WORK!
