Flipchuck's Reikland Warband

I finished painting another warband. My Reiklan warband.


The warband itself.


Mercenary Captain


The 2 Champions.


The two Young Bloods.


The Warrior henchmen group.


The first marksmen henchmen group.


The 2nd marksmen henchmen group.

They look like they're from Talabheim Turned out nice though, even if I can spot a mouldline here and there. The only thing is that one greatsword-champ looks more like the leader due to the different colour on his armour.

Actually, I check the Empire codex book before I painted these guys. The main color on their uniforms is white. On the examples for the models, some of them did have red with their white. The great sword guy comes from a famous great sword regiment where that is their uniform and their armour is black. But they are from Reikland.

PRETTY COOL LOOKING! The Carroburg Great Sword turned out particularly nicely. WELL DONE!

I don't doubt you, but if you check the colours of Talabheim, you know why they could be mistaken for those:

I love the captain kitbash, brilliant!

I redid the color of the warband. I kept the red but I tonned it don't and added more white. And got a new Captain...
And then played the new warband in a new campain. Got my butt kicked, hard! Captain died. A few heroes died and a lot of henchmen died too. One hero who is now called "One Arm" Joe has taken a brutal beaten. He's one of those who you now tell stories about....



















My new captain...who died. The replacement has the same weapons and a helmet...



My young blood with two swords. He gotten pretty good in combat.

And "One Arm" Joe. He was a new hero to replace one of the ones that died. But he was a trouble magnet from the start. First game, first battle he was taken out of action and then recived...multiple Injuries which one of them was a severe arm wound. And now he also has: Old Battle Wound, Nervous Condition, Hand Injury, Chest Wound and Harden. Our group thinks he'll become my warband's next leader. He already has a higher Ld then my current leader. He's one those heores, we laugh about after the game.

Great looking warband. Old "One-Arm Joe" is a cool character. That's one of my favorite things about Mordheim is the character development and stories.

Made some minor changes. My gunslinger has a new body and a new hat. My warriors lost their Halberd and gained swords and sheilds so I can use them in my Warhammer Fantasy army.

NICE WORK! I like the Gun Slinger's new chapeau.
