| So, terrain is really my favourite part of the hobby, i've done a bit of casting and really quite enjoyed it, but i think that I will try to make a little bit more from the techniques that i'm really just dabbling in. Learn with me perhaps? These buildings will be for games that I am playing, but the idea is to make molds of whatever i can (it seems smart to expend that extra bit of effort), and to make copies available for sale or trade in the naive hope that my hobby can pay for itself ( ). If it's all terrible however, i count on the brutal honesty of you guys to bring me back to earth. Anyway, the main reason for this thread is because this forum seems to have a supportive, yet informative population, and hopefully the CC will make things a little smoother, perhaps some of you might even want a cast... Here we go, first masters, simple fieldstone walls, Dull as dishwater, but perhaps the most useful item for rural games. And secondly, a small beehive hut inspired by dark age celtic monastaries, but i think very useful for fantasy, orc or goblin abodes, hedge wizard hideout? There's more, but I hope to get them a bit further down the road before showing them. | |

| I like the bee hive hut. How did you make the "stones"? Taken out of context, it sounds like a silly question.... | |

| The stones are snapped up sheets of plaster. Taken out of context that sounds like a silly answer. I would definately not recommend doing this yourself it takes forever, no particular glue seems suitable, but the effect is nice. I settled for wood glue which takes an age to dry. | |

| Try a hot glue gue. The glue is strong and dries very fast. It's what I use for all my terrain. | |
