| Awesome stuff! simple yet it sets so much of an asian tone!
Great Job! (I might end up stealing some of you stuff, seeing as I am working on a Cathayan Pirate band - Which naturally needs some scenery as well...)

They are quite stable; pretty much as stable as possible when not using a bigger base *shudder*. Because of the heavy 'milliputted' stones at the bottom the balance point is at the bottom, which is good, of course (and at the front, which is a little bad, of course). - Ezekiel wrote:

You're very welcome to do so! That's one of the (many) good things about this forum after all! But you will have to show us what you come up with in return. The walls are finished, by the way:

| VERY IMPRESSIVE! From the WIP pics I didn't realize just how BIG the walls were. WOW, they're like city walls. VERY NICE WORK! Once more your presentation is STUNNING especially the background. The minis are cool; they remind me of Colin Dixon's line of Samuris et al. Your work & that of quite a few other forumites takes our avocation from being merely a game to being an art form. BRAVO!

| BOMBA! Bi-ooty-ful Cianty! I love your background edits. You can almost smell the fresh sea air on this one. The walls of course are very well made. You are doing all the pioneer work in terms of asian scenery... will make it much easier for us to follow in your footstep when WE BUILD OUR OWN BTB TABLES. Right guys? * Turns around and cracks whip at little chinese workers* Build faster you lazy dogs! _________________ | |

| Ohw! they are larger than I'd have guessed! Looking sweet, make a bunch of these and you could go for the Forbidden city! I got utterly lost around there due to all the walls being far to high to see anything beyond the small square, alley, or garden you're in... But that would make for excellent Mordheiming! Maybe for some more of that, you could opt to use fences and platforms like the Temple of Heaven? - And pretty much all of their temples, but this is one of the better examples > http://www.southasianholidays.com/images/info/big/040214_temple%20of%20heaven.jpgOh, and the Summerpalace entrance! > http://www.hugo-kruyt.nl/Summer%20palace%20(5).jpg that would make a nice one.. (I have better pictures if needed, this is just for quick reference...) | |

| Thanks for all the nice comments! The walls are so big on purpose but more on that later.. Let's have a look at what I am currently working on: I added milliput stones like I did with the walls: Again I aimed at quick and easy progess. Styrofoam is great for cutting windows and stuff but it is not very durable. All in all I am quite happy with the material from what I have experience so far, though. More posts are coming soon. | |

Great work. I love how the walls came out.

| Cianty, you are more and more convincing me to switch over to the styrofoam and spackle side... Much cheaper.
How hard does that wall get when everything is dry? _________________

If you mean the wall pieces above, they are very solid pieces. I glued two thick sheets of styrofoam (8mm each!) together so that is perfectly durable while also weighing very little. For the house I added a wooden frame for stability (see below). You'll notice the black on the timber: those stakes are from fireworks rockets I collected in the streets after New Year's Eve (I told you I was using cheap materials). The right hand wall from the house is only 3mm(!) because I ran out of the thicker foams (again, cheap material I had at hand). This stuff breaks already if you just look at it. Well, almost. I was very very careful when applying the spackle and now that there's spackle on both sides it is indeed hard and stable (no bending or anything, of course). I still wouldn't recommend playing football with the building but other than that I am fully satisfied. Also the spackle adds some weight of course, but all in all the house is still very light. Cool stuff.

| LOVE IT! I have ABSOLUTELY no idea where you are going with this one; ergo, watching it evolve will be, with my limited social life, exciting. As always, it looks to be a fine piece of work with great potential. WELL DONE! | |

So that means it can't double as a locker room for Blood Bowl

| Some updates! I made the first floor for the house including a balustrade. Put in the house it looks like this: Then I made something special for the rooftop. So the current house looks like this: Hope you like it! | |

| Bloody Awesome! The balustrade gave me the nice Idea of paper walls! would be for some really cool gaming options, if there were walls you could just crush trough (gamewise naturally, or you must REALLY like making terrain... ) I looks really good, the roof looks like its one hell of a job to get it in that position though! PROPS! | |
