| Cheers Guys @Commander Von Drake: Your on Ammo bunker too ain't you dude? I'm Maelstrom over there though I haven't been on there for a few months. Right I've left it a few days between updates so as I've been able to get a decent amount of work on the female brethren, here she is so far: appologies for the poor pics, got them before the light started to fade. I didn't do a concept sketch for her in the end just worked from the picture I had in my mind. So shes got a large metal plate with the slaanesh symbol on it figured it could work as a bit of armour, got the front of her robe slightly open to go with the bare flesh theme. Decided to have her wearing the mask think its works well with the whole cult theme. Shouldn't be too long before shes finished What do you think guys? think the mask and that works? | |

| The mask works really well. It will look even better ( is that possible?!) when painted. I must say however that I'm not so keen on the weapon arms for the male brethrin..sory the body looks great tho. Leader is top notch, I wouldn't bother changing anything on her. I look forward to seeing where this warband goes. | |

Thanks dude, must say I have gotten more into the whole blogging thing, before I never really got what the fuss was about - Quote :
- I must say however that I'm not so keen on the weapon arms for the male brethrin..sory
nothing to be sorry about dude I have been struggling with the arms for him, though I should be getting a few frames of Beastmen Gors this weekend so shall see how the arms from those work Right small update, I've started brethren number 3, this time armed with a two handed axe: Sorry forthe size of the picture, despite resizing it twice on photobucket its still huge I think the mask on this guy has come out the best of them all so far. I havent modified the torso this time as you can see leather armour under the robes, he will be getting boots and charms, gems etc hanging from his belt. I did decide to give him a bit of armour on the 1 shoulder just to make him a little different from the other 2. I've picked up some brown stuff(brown milliput) today as I have heard its good for armour and weapons, so shall have an experiment with it soon Also for any of you who are in the nottingham area I shall be at WHW this Saturday for the Ammo Bunkers Open bash, and shall be bringing the warband so far as well as a few other bits and pieces to put on the project table there. Well thats it for now feedback as ever is more than welcome

| The 2handed axe looks great. Why not shave off the skull and sculpt the slaaneshi simbol on it insted? The little details are allways worht it. Never noticed that you were a UK boy! Yea!! | |

| Cheers sir, I think the axeman is probs my favourite of the brethren so far too right I have a small update for you guys, was at the Ammo bunkers Open bash at WHW on saturday, had a great day and the WiP warband seemed to go down quite well. learnt to play Aeronautica Imperialis on the day too, really like that game. Simple rules but very tactical. I might have a word with the Mods over on AB about potentially running a Mordheim game at the next bash, given how well recieved the giant BFG game that 2 members ran on saturday was Heres the models I took for the project table: well that explains my absense for a week, but I can't just leave it at that I have a small update for you guys too : Axe man is very nearly finished, just need to do his other boot and add a dagger to his belt, I added the Slaanesh rune to his axe as suggested by Smokezombie. The guy on the right will be armed with a spear, hes still WiP need to sort out a head and do more work on the body before I attach his arms question for you guys, do you think that Dark Eldar daggers would work well with these? or will they look too Elvish? | |

| Most of the time the Slaaneshi blades do look somewhat elvish anyways, so they'd probably fit right in. Your sculpting is fantastic. | |

| I think the Dark Eldar daggers would work just fine, and with your scultping skills you could make the handles tie in with the fantasy style anyway. | |

| Cheers guys I'll have a mess with a dark eldar dagger see how it looks. Right got a small update, started work on the first Dark Soul for the warband. Here he is so far still heavilly WiP: Gone for a blood pact style mask on him, to make him look more vicious than the rest of the brethren. he will get chainmail on his arms too, again to make him different. I'm not too happy with the mask at the moment, might re do it. What do you guys think? | |

| Blood pact masks are very hard to sculpt, been making a whole army of 'em But that looks great I think! The nose just looks a little wonky that's all Great work on the rest of the warband | |

| Super awesome!! Keep the mask, it looks great. Good choice of parts, the hunched over aspect makes him look even more sinister. Lets hope he gets LGT. DE knifes should fit right in, go for it. This is going to be ( all ready is) a stunning warband. I can't wate to see the mutants and the posessed. | |

| wow, your sculpts are great. go on like that so far I have always looked at the empire bowmen as "perfect models for marienburgers" but you have given me a different view, they are really suited well to become cultists.. maybe after I have finished the x0 other projects I have in mind... ah and I have a proposal for your masks: why not try sculpting a loose one, make a mould of it and just recast it for every new cultist? would increase "uniformity" of your cult and save a lot of work.. | |

Your WIP's exceed most modellers finished work in quality it seems. Great pose on the dark soul, and the mask looks menacing enough to me - I shudder to think what further atrocities you will add.

| Wow thanks for all the replies guys - Quote :

they are tricky things to do especially the nose, I don't envy you having to do a whole army. I started doing a sons of sek army a year ago managed to get a platoons worth of them done before I got burnt out by sculpting tiny hand shaped gas masks on them - Quote :
- ah and I have a proposal for your masks: why not try sculpting a loose
one, make a mould of it and just recast it for every new cultist? would increase "uniformity" of your cult and save a lot of work.. Mmmm a possibility, with only doing a small warband of models I don't mind sculpting them individually. However I'm planning on doing an undead warband afer this and might make a zombie cultist so a mold might come in handy for that right I have a small update, did the chainmail sleeve on teh sword arm of the Dark Soul: thought I would see what you guys think of it, do you think it works with the theme? my idea is that seen as Dark Souls still think their daemons this guy will think he has metal skin or something similar. Also seen as I forgot to ask last time, I'm planning on adding some trophies to the more "brutal" elements of the warband so Darksouls, beastmen and the possessed themselves. Will likely add a severed hand to this guy, again do you guys think that will work with the theme? thats it for now, tonight I'm going to get started on the first mutant thanks for all the support and feedback guys its appreciated
