Bushido: Awesome new game about to be released

For anyone interested in martial arts, the orient, fantasy and mythology on June 4th the new company CGT Studios will be releasing a new 28mm skirmish game called Bushido

This week they released the quick start rules which are available for free

I think it looks awesome and hopefully it will be a big success.

I wount start a new game but some of the minis are interesting. I like the arkebusier and the turtle-dude for example. Quality of the sculpts seem to be okay too. Prices would be interesting...

I have heard that they will open their Online Store very soon!

It's quasi-Japanese (there is a lot of Chinese stuff mixed in, be it verbiage, symbolism or iconography), but the sculpts do indeed look quite nice.

Love the gorilla! Don't associate the far east with gorillas, but whatever...

That gorilla is indeed very nice! I kinda like the tortoise monk as well, even if he seems to be floating a few inches above the surface he's supposed to be sitting on

Ooooh a Nezumi...

While some of the sculpts are good, I think L5R nailed the quasi-Japanese/fantasy Eastern style pretty well. I'll stick to my warband made of Clan War minis I think

The minis certainly look nice (love the turtle-monk!), too bad I can't really justify buying into another game at the moment but not it's filed away in the back of my head, just in case I stumble upon a large sum of cash and a local group of like-minded gamers.

That would make an awesome mini to represent a Kitsune in W:tA!

The Bushido mini line is certainly shaping up nicely.

While I don't like all minis (of course, I guess), there are some nice, fresh concepts. I like the temple (with all the animals) and the puppet master most!

The only boring ones imo are the Prefecture of Ryu ones, they don't seem to look as cool as the others - particularly the Ro-Kan and Yurei ones, which might be worth getting just to paint up.

Brilliant! I must say I really like the monk on the tortoise!
