Looks excellent! Very seriouslooking guy, very fitting for a River Watch member! The pose is really good, with the left arm behind his back. The head looks very good, fits the model perfectly in my mind. I say keep going in this direction!

I really like his bonce, and his leather-bonnet.

Aye! Or toss the excess in a smaller jolly boat! A river patrol flotilla! Planks work of the rough docks as well as the barrooms the watch must frequent to quell unrest.

Officers spent more time in taverns when they're off duty than when they are on the job.

I really like the head to be honest! Cool pose. Looks calm and leader-ish.

Grimscull: Why thank you! That is exactly what I'm aiming for, miniatures that are easily recognised as Citadel miniatures but still have a little flavour, á la Marienburg River Watch!

It's been a very long time since my last update.. Luckily my gaming group is about to start a new campaign soon, so I finally had some motivation to work on my Watchmen again.

I decided to start working on my heroes. Here I present you a River Watch Rookie and the Private Sleuth (with pendulum swing!), they still need some minor greenstuff work for their arms and such.





And here's the entire gang so far!




Next on the list of heroes is the first Sergeant, stay tuned! Now I first have some make some more planked bases..

To show you guys that I'm not dead (yet);

Progress! Yes, it's been some time. Lately I finally found some inspiration (and time, school's been hectic!) and finally managed to do some more models for my River Watch.



Here you see some Watchmen in various states of progress. The crossbow fella's will be my Sergeants (heroes) and the others will be used for reinforcements for the "whistling" special rule (after blowing the whistle, D3+1 Watch Officers will arrive after D3 turns). The "whistle" Officers will be armed with cudgels. I'm currently pondering what to use as cudgels; I have some maces from the Skaven Clanrat kit, with the spikes removed they would make some excellent cudgels!

I know it's not much, but it's progress right?!

It's good to see you're still at it...true love never dies...I suppose. The Lads of the Watch look potentially TERRIFIC. Keep up the FINE WORK & keep posting it!
