| Thought I'd finally get round to posting some pics of my models to see what everyone thinks. I'm still experimenting with lighting, so some of the pics may be a little murky, but let me know what you think of the quality of the painting. First off, my Dwarf Troll Slayer, a conversion of the Blood Bowl Grim Ironjaw model. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] My converted Pit Fighter [img] [/img] [img] [/img] Elf Mage [img] [/img] And finally my Halfling Scout and treasure chest [img] [/img] [img] [/img] | |

| Excellent work, Cornelius! The models are very well highlighted, and the colour combinations work very well. Your very accurate black lining really makes the models pop. I think that it may be time for me to give black lining a new chance, since so many painters on this forum use it with such prowess. I would like a sideview of the pit fighter if possible! | |

| ALL VERY WELL DONE! The axe is a nice addition to the Blood Bowl Slayer; the Pit Fighter is the best version to the genre I've yet to see; The Elf Guy's star cloak is beautifully done; AND the Halfling is short. I LOVE the way you did your bases. GREAT STUFF! | |

| Great paint job - precise and clean. What kind of minis are the slayer and elf mage? don't know them and they look great. | |

| Thanks guys! I'll be posting some warband/ terrain pics soon as well. All models are GW, the slayer is an old Blood Bowl star player and the elf is a Warhammer mage from a few years back. I think they're both still available. I meant to post a side view of the pit fighter as he has a converted punch dagger I was particularly proud of. I'm currently working on a Tilean marksman and Ogre bodyguard, but I tend to take ages over each model, just a very slow painter. I'll post pics of them in a couple of weeks | |

| As promised, a side view of the pit fighter, showing the punch dagger. I used a Middenheimer fist, a really old Space Marine bayonet, Dark Eldar spikes and some plastic rod for the fist. [img] [/img] And the positive response to the others spurred me on to finish the Tilean marksman. Took me until 4.30 am but I'm quite happy with the results. The lighting isn't great, I'll have to experiment with lighting techniques I think. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] | |

| Nice looking punch dagger; I think tit's also called cesta. The Tilean Marksman turned out GREAT...he has an air of professionalism about him enhanced by a no-nonsense color scheme. As usual VERY WELL DONE! | |

| beautiful figures!
I'm especially a fan of the troll slayer. That's a great model and you did an excellent job on some very detailed brushwork - the tattoos and plaid look great!

| Thanks for the feedback guys, always nice to hear positive comments from your peers. I've finally finished the latest HS, a Dwarf Treasure Hunter and I've finally figured out how to light my pics properly. At some point I'll replace the earlier pics with the tidied up / better lit ones. Anyway, enjoy. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] | |

It's a shame that undead only can use like 2 hired swords.

| Ok, and the next one is my Warrior Priest. I'd been meaning to get one but hadn't got round to mail ordering one and when I saw the new finecast model I couldn't resist it, especially as I'm collecting an Empire army for Warhammer. I also got the new wizard to use as a Middenheimer Wolf Priest but God knows when He'll see the light of day. Anyway, my Warrior Priest : " /> " /> | |

| Thanks, I had to use a different camera to last time and used a daylight bulb rather than natural light so they came out a bit glossy and pale. I'll replace the pics eventually but just wanted to share while I had the chance. Glad you liked them though. | |
