Well, a Vampire's life isn't all cool walks in the park and stuff like the telly suggests... | |

| Thank you all for the compliments. I struggled for some time with this model. I changed the model three time and changed his skin twice. But that's not really why it took me so long....my job got in the way a lot. - cianty wrote:

Well, a Vampire's life isn't all cool walks in the park and stuff like the telly suggests... Cianty, you've hit the nail on the head. As with all my models, I try to convey the lowliness and desperation of the poor souls who have no better prospects than to venture into the city of the damned. Thanks Again. Zombies and Dire wolves to follow shortly. |

Keep up the GOOD WORK! I definitely play with this warband...almost exclusively. My favorite part about playing is showing of my conversions and art work. Thanks for the compliment, man. I can't wait to see what you come up with. One Answer: The cape is attached to the model. The model is Games Workshop's Winged Vampire. I just cut the wing off and shaped the remaining area with my blade. |

| I hope you post some pictures with you warband in action Cool, I didn’t know that the cape was original! That just made my work so much easier, now I don’t have to search for a new cape^^ That winged vampire is the only vampire in the fantasy range that I think fits with the mordheims style, and your vampire truly fits that style,it looks like it could have been taken from the art in the mordheims rulesbok . When will we se more updates? | |

| Thanks All! At the moment I'm working on an Undead Troll. In our current campaign we are using experimental lists and we get bonuses for having everything painted. I'd like to have it finished by tomorrow night, but I don't know if I'll have the time. Also on the block for this warband are the sleek Zombies I made months ago. I plan to paint them ... eventually. |

| Okay, here are some pics of the Underlanders in action. Please forgive the terrain mat. We play on green felt at our local hobby store. This is game 2 of our current campaign. We are searching for clues to help us find a Counts kidnapped daughter. We know that her captors are a Chaos Cult called the Cracked Skulls and we're scouring their territory for information. Basically, it's an occupy mission. We had 6 building up for grabs for 3 Warbands, Undead, Cathay Monks and Orks. Each noncontested occupied building at the end of the game offered a clue on a 4+. The Orks won the first game of the campaign so they had first turn in this scenario. The Monks and Undead setup in opposite corners and the Orks setup in the corner to my right. At the start of the game the Orks divided their warband, half went for the Monks, half came for me. My half had the Warboss, a Warlock HS and a Troll! I took quite apounding early in the game. The orks killed a well levelled Dreg a nice ghoul 2 Zombies and my Undead Troll (yahoo group has a troll in the Undead list). In the 7th turn my Vampire brought the troll down with a bad critical, stealing his last two wounds and putting it OOA with a 4 +2. Next, my necromancer popped out and cast the Spell of DOOM on his leader and the poor bastard was dragged beneath the cold dead earth. After the game the Ork leader died and I used the Spell of Awakening to replace my undead troll with an Undead Ork Warboss. That has never happened for me. In fact, I was just complaining about that in someonelses thread. The Orks faired much better against the Monks, but after the devastating losses the green skins suffered on my side of the table, they chose to route. The Monks secured 2 buildings and I had control of 3. I found 2 clues. The Battle Monks The Orks The Underlanders Sorry the images are fuzzy. I had to take these pics with my phone. I left my camera at home. |

| There IS something about photos of minis in their "natural" surroundings that make both the minis & the terrain look that much better. COOL STUFF! Sorry, we're going to have to chain your camera to your wrist. Stop whining; it's for your own good. | |

| That is SO COOL! I LOVE the second version with him dragging the weapon along like he forgot what it was for. Like all your conversions, he has a TREMENDOUS amount of character/personality. Even unpainted, it is easy to spot all sorts of Ubercool little details. Keep up the EXCEPTIONAL WORK!
