| WOWagain! I would say your Zombies are beautiful, but considering the subject............ VERY WELL DONE! These are coming along wonderfully, AND quickly. I'm looking forward to the Group shot when the lads are all done! GREAT STUFF! Are you using the same skin color on the Zombies as on the Ghouls? It would make sense;i.e., you are what [who] you eat.

One of the "Ghoulish" Zombies was painted in the same manner as the Ghouls, but for the other I removed the Camo Green color. I was hoping for a paler tone, but unfortunately it came out the same. The Neutral skin Zombies are tests for my Dregs. We'll see how that goes. Unfortunately, I have to put the hobby aside for a week, so it may be a while until my next update. Thanks again for all the great compliments. |

| Hi Everybody! After 4 games I finally overcame the Witch's/Wizard's reclusive nature by rolling a 4. (Harder than it sounds ) Since I was dying to add him to the warband, I had to paint him. |

| OH WOW,, man! That is PERFECT; beautifully done face & hands, great choice of colors extremely well done, AND the positioning makes the whole piece. He Really looks like he's casting some horrendously powerful incantation. He could be any Witch Hunters worst nightmare [serves them right, damned bigots ]. That is the best take on the Wizard boxed set I've seen so far, including the one's I've done [humbling experiences are valuable lessons; I just wish they wouldn't happen SO often ]. BRAVO! ENCORE! | |

| Thank you all for the great compliments. "Encore" you say? This is Claude, one of my Dregs. I can't decide whether he should have a shield or not. Advice would be appreciated. |

| From a modeling standpoint, I'd say to go with the shield - it really gives him an "I belong to an undead warband" feel. From a gaming standpoint, I'd say no - 6's don't come up that much and too many things are S4 or higher in Mordheim.
Brilliant work with everything, by the way; I especially love that wizard.

| OMG! You're really killing me! These models are painted too good! So awesome!
Regarding the shield: what CygnusMaximus said. The model looks so much better with that shield but a second hand-weapon is better in combat. However, this might be the moment for you and your gaming group to think about using the house rule that makes shield + hand-weapon grant an additional +1 armour save in close combat. That's 5+ for your dreg and you can easily buy him a light armour later for a 4+ safe.

| Yet another REALLY INCREDIBLE piece of work! EXCELLENTSTUFF! Keep the shield, if you're into appearance; drop it for an additional hand weapon, if you're looking for gaming potential. The choice kind of gives you some insight on where you are at game-wise [the smart money is on you keeping the shield ] BTW what's that little thingy on the base? | |

BTW what's that little thingy on the base? Thank you, Thank you. Regarding the Shield, In my current campaign this guy has Strongman and 3 attacks with a double-handed weapon, which means a shield is only good for shooting defense. So the strength 4 issue is valid. In fact, armor, as I've seen it, has seldom been worth the expense. However, at this point in the campaign I've upgraded my Vampire and Necromancer's armor, and passed down the light armor to the dregs. So he has armor anyway. I guess I'm leaning towards keeping the shield for aesthetics if nothing else. To answer your question, that "thingy" on the ground is a spider...I guess it needs a little more work. |

| No the spider is fine; my ability to focus on small objects is NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. Things start going South about my age; FORTUNATELY, nothing useful has fallen off YET . Compliment-wise, I'd have to possess the poetical ability to wax lyrical in order to do your pieces justice. VERY INSIPING STUFF! | |

| I think your eyes are just fine. The spider is difficult to make out from at the angle of this shot. From above it looks much clearer. Much like the bat on the base of my first Zombie, it's best viewed from above. I guess it will give me something nice to look at as I play from above. Thanks again for the compliment, matey! |
