| I love you warband mate. Great conversions, great painting.
I especially like the warlock. The new dregs i like much better than the others, the two handed sword one looks like it should be from a drawing in the mordheim rulebook.
Keep it up.

| The dregs look very deranged. And it looks like they need a meal or two. Great job! | |

| Terrific job as usual, Donald! The scheme is awesome, and fits the rest of the warband perfectly!
Oh and here's a question I wanted to ask you about your painting; do you use a White or Black undercoat for these miniatures?
Cheers! | |

| OH WOW! That was DEFINITELY worth the wait! The not-so-good Doctor is THE ARCHTYPICAL Necromancer. In addition to a fantastic bit of painting/modeling, you managed to capture the essence of the Necromantic character. He looks like he just escaped from Blood on the Reik. WELL DONE! I've got to con my pigeon/patron into getting a couple more Corpse Carts or pull a bank job & get them for myself .

| first of all, great minis and paintjob. one questions, though: is the double-handed sword the one dreg is trying to lift a part of the corpse cart as well? | |

| Thanks for the compliments, all! At the moment I'm remodeling my Vampire, but I should have him finished soon and then my warband will be complete. I'll post pics as soon as they are ready. On to the questions: - Pfreck wrote:

The answer is neither...or is it both, since I've been using gray primer. The primer is from Testors actually. I had some left over from a model rocket project and it's become a favorite of mine for undercoats. - Eliazar wrote:

The torso of each Dreg is made from the Corpse cart Axle-men (the guys pulling the cart). The heads, legs & arms were clipped from the corpse pile. The double handed weapon is a sword from the Empire Wizard sprue and the other weapons came with the corpse cart. |

I'll second this reply... now, let me see, where can I get a corpse cart... well, seriously, you're amazing dregs finally got me to lay hands on some greenstuff, practice and then try to do something similar (even though I expect them to be nothing near your stuff ) | |

well, seriously, you're amazing dregs finally got me to lay hands on some greenstuff, practice and then try to do something similar (even though I expect them to be nothing near your stuff ) Imitation is the highest form of flattery...so, thank you. @Elizar: I'm glad to hear you've been inspired to use GS. It really adds character to any mini. Don't be intimidated by the medium. It just takes practice. I remember the first model I used GS on. It was a WH40K Daemon Prince and I had a hell of a time. I didn't know that you needed to use water to keep the GS wet as you work with it, so it kept getting stuck to my tools and hands. Eventually, I began licking my fingers and tools to keep it from sticking to them. I actually finished the model that way before I realized that a dish of water would probably work better and be less gross. I only really started using GS regularly when I built my 140 model Kroot Mercenary Army for WH40K. Every model has GS on it, so I had a lot of practice...but there is always room for improvement. So, long story short (too late), if you get stuck or have any questions on exactly how I made these models feel free to ask any time. Good Luck! |

So how about a green-stuff tutorial Well other than the one I posted in the Shout Out: Sci-fi section, I have made 2 others. One details the step for making the Headdress and the other is my take on an Eviscerator. Both can be found in the articles section on, the Pfreck created, forum Kompletely Kroot, which I Admin. If you'd like me to write a Mordheim tutorial for green stuff, that may take some time, but it is possible. |

Ooh,I can't believe I missed this. It is very tempting. Unfortunately, my free time will be cut short in about a week, so I may have a hard time painting for a while. It is possible that I will have more time to paint in late September. |
