| Keeping mind that you're asking an admittedly strange Old Man with decidedly peculiar tastes in such things, I'd tend to give a RESOUNDING "YES" on both counts. | |

| I recently spotted the scibor dwarves to and I immediatly knew these are AWESOME CHAOS DWARFS!
Warlord games is also a very good choice! I'm gonna use their war of the roses infantry box as a Reikland mercenary warband!
to recapitulate: go for it! (and then show me the results)

| Indeed, the war of the rose regiment is awesome for creating a Reiklander warband !!!

| The Scibor Dwarfs are even ment as a substitute for Chaos Dwarfs I believe, so that would work fine. From Scibor I only got the knights-head sprue, but the quality is fine. Should be for the Dwarfs as well.
The one thing to keep in mind bout the warlordminis is that they are something between hero scale and true scale, so it might look a little odd if mixed with GW-Heroscale Minis.

| Another thing on the Warlord minis - they're great but since they're made with historical gaming in mind, and from the looks of it large blocks of uniformally armed troops, you'll probably want to do some conversion work to change a) the poses around a bit, just for aesthetic variety, and b) the armament, unless you're OK with equipping all of your warriors very similarly. However, I'm sure both would be fairly easy fixes, especially if you have a few spare Empire bits lying about. | |

| I just picked up a box of Royalist Infantry by Warlord. The minis are beautiful; HOWEVER, they are MUCH SMALLER than G.W.'s minis...they're about the height of a Goblin . | |

| Those are really cool mini's. I like the paint job that they chose as well. | |
