| Hi, I don't know if this is the same for other versions of the scenario but in BTB the rules say... - Quote :
- In a multiplayer scenario each player randomly determines a Hero from his warband to take part in the scenario. On the second round of selection, each player randomly determines a non-animal Henchman (only Wardogs are allowed!). This is alternated each until the maximum number of models is reached. Any mounts and vehicles must remain outside.
Does this mean that Hired Swords and DPs cannot take part (or cannot take part in multiplayer games at least)? That seems a shame. If they can take part then would they replace a Hero or Henchmen? Thanks! | |

| I read now the scenario description and I would say ....it´s depending on:
In the scenario description following is stated:
Rather than players fielding their full warbands we suggest a maximum of 30 models in a multiplayer scenario.
1) When falling below or not exceeding the 30 models limit I would count the hired swords as Henchmen and would allow hired swords.....if exceeding this limit I would not allow hired swords.
3) I would not allow any Dramatis Personae for this scenario.
But....this is only my interpretation and how I would handle this scenario in a multiplayer game.

| If you run out of Heroes, pick another Henchman instead. If you run out of Henchmen, pick another Hero instead. If you run out of both, start a new warband. Seriously. | |

| The sorcerous society warband in my campaign wanted to bring in his ogre bodyguard HS for some grunt against beastmen raiders (which are nearly unstoppable in this scenario when versing humans (or my Nuln warband at least as the wizard warband can still cast spells! grrrrr)). Thanks everyone! | |

| I don't think they allow beastmen at the bar! Perhaps they are uninvited guests. But regarding Hired Swords. There's already too much they can't do... and I'm working on something to do with that! Feel free to bring them along for drink at the tavern. Just don't expect them to pay for the round!! Regards, Werekin. | |

| We had this same question, and after much deliberation we came to the conclusion that Hired Swords of any kind cannot be taken into Last Orders for a few reasons:
1) Hired swords and Dramatis personae take up a henchmen "slot" but for the most part act as their own kind of unit, thus are not included when it says "A random henchmen"
2) The Bone Goliath. The stats aside (which are considerable when you think of all the unarmed opponents it will have) it would be allowed to pretty much run the show.
3) Maglah Khan's Horde would be allowed, which consists of more than one model in one selection which would unbalance things.
4) Belandysh. | |

| Thank you kindly. We have had many many discussions about this sort of thing as we have quite a few people wanting to bend every little rule to their advantage. | |
