| Yessss!!! It's in 7 weeks after the initial order, the little bastards arrived. In short my experience with BTD: - Miniatures : 4 stars (not bad at all, sculpts are nicely detailed and pretty precise) - "Bang for the buck value" : 5 stars (one of the cheapest brands online, yet nice sculpts) - Delivery: 1 star (no track-trace number. Estimated time exceeded by far) - Communication: 2 stars (did respond to some mails. Response was very polite but had not much usefull information) Boy, am I glad they are in now I would only consider ordering there again if : A. I had enough time on hands OR B. their delivery and communication procedure upgraded by a lot If we have to believe the corresponding partner, something is done at the moment, so for others there is still hope! | |

| CONGRATULATIONS! The thread was taking on the aspects of a Homeric Saga. Be sure to reread this thread prior to another order. | |

| Thnx both of you.
@willet: I've never had these delivery stuff with any other company. They either supply super rapid (read: 5 days from USA to Europe!) or it took around ten days and I got supplied with an TNT-number, confirmation mails and all.
@alan: I will do that for sure. It's just such a shame that these great guys are so hard to get, simply because the order-system is based on "suprise-delivery". Just upgrading and getting it right would improve the company status and order percentage by at least 50%.
I'm just glad they arrived. Now I will make the promise that I will upload photos in the upcoming 1 or 2 weeks where I at least undercoated them, and maybe even put a layer of paint on the orcs.

| IT IS A BUMMER, but there are a number of companies that make SUPER minis that are nearly impossible to get other than locally...RAFM & Fenryll spring to mind. G.W. & a couple other "big" mini makers sometimes make me forget than most of the Folks in the business are rather small outfits with limited capabilities for handling orders. C'est la vie, eh?! | |

Wise words. And it's really a shame that they don't have the capability to handle more orders. Some serious competition for GW would perhaps greatly influence the price range (Mantic is really trying there!). To most of them, it is merely a hobby to sculpt. Those sculpts usually cost somewhat more than regular, but what could be better then to have an awesome model made by a real artist and begin one of the very few who actually owns a copy at all! Still trying to find that local "madman", but they all seem to live overseas or in abandoned parts of germany ..... Ontopic: I ordered not only the orcs, but some halflings as well. These are really great (metaphorically speaking)! The details are above average and the size is somewhat similair to GW. Very usefull in Mordheim I'd say . So if you want halflings and are able to wait a while, these are a must-order. (PM me if you want to know which ones I ordered). | |

| I'm glad to hear read that you did receive the minis. I occasionally order CDs from the USA and it often takes around a month for them to arrive. Sometimes, this is even the case for UK orders. | |
