shanks ork barmy army

started a evil sunz ork army, will update with each new piece but to start with is a forgeworld deff dread, i have painted it in a war worn dull red scheme with plenty of rusting, which, i will be following through on each piece the hand was missing when i got it so sculpted a new one holding space marine/head trophies, again will follow this through with each piece
had to repaint one side as GW purity seal varnish made it go greyish

VERY COOL! I LOVE the Lad popping out of the hatch...I always found the "hard-wired" thing a bit too disturbing. The paint job & modifications ROCK! VERY WELL DONE!

Oooh, looking good! And more pictures to come, you say? Try not using flash next time, some of the details are hard to spot now, but from what I can see, you're a good painter!

ext offering, basic model with a decapitated marine trophy, with added skull and exposed wiring etc, lava base as all my army will be based on these, no reason apart from i really like lava bases and there a challenge to paint and get looking right, i think igot there eventually, what do you all think, thanks in advance

PRETTY COOL...I hope the dead Space Nazi is in the colors of one of your opponents. Your reason for doing the lava bases sounds plausible to moi...you are, after all, painting for yourself. WELL DONE!

this is the monster of the pack so far, a few small conversions like the added exhaust pipes and double flamer and fuel tanks to chain fist, also added a forgeworld grot bomb to weapons arm, the evil sunz ichest icon is made on several layers of plasticard, eventually i will make lava bases for the bigger pieces, enjoy and comments welcome

That is a VERY IMPRESSIVE piece. I LOVE the way you painted it up, AND the little improvements you made to the Beasty. Every time I get to the games store I infrequently frequent I'm tempted to pick up the Gargant they have sitting there collecting dust...this may have pushed me over the edge. VERY WELL DONE!

I LOVE Orck Armor AND that is a BEAUTIFULLY DONE example of why I do...that also may be your best paint job yet. The cobble together comical look to the piece is WONDERFUL

Sorry I missed commenting on the Gretchin before. The Little Green Guys turned out OH-SO-COOL. The Slaver is a FINELY DONE mini also. GREAT WORK!
