This is awesome!

I absolutely loved seeing Lulu the Land Waster, but the idea of post-apocolyptic warhammer warbands with crazy centerpiece models like that is just too cool. I love these ideas.

Can't wait to see how the table turns out - so far you've got some really cool looking terrain in the works though!

I've got more trees & above ground thingies underway, PLUS a few Cavern tiles nearing completion. Steam-punk ideas are slowly becoming W.I.P. pieces. It's taking over my life...such as it is.

These are the first W.I.P photos of what is tentatively being call Maudeheim...named for the Patron Goddess of Mushrooms & Goblins. Until the Comet came Maudeheim was a subterranean Den of Drugs & Debauchery. Now with the roof blown off, it's become a Hole in the Ground of Drugs & Debauchery...nice to know some things never change.

The water effect on the hex-board has been more or less finished as have some of the forest pieces...SO, if you go out in the woods today....

It is interesting to see how your initial concept has inspired a lot of your later modeling. This thread now seems prophetic considering the End Times campaign and story.

It seemed like a good idea so I went with it...I have many more truly bad ideas that seemed good at one time or another.
Since this thread is dated, I wonder if I should tell G.W. to cease & desist...see the "bad idea" comment above.

Thanks, Mom! It is pretty much the direction I've been going with my Maudeheim thread. I'm thinking of adding the completed terrain to this thread, now that it's been resurrected, as well.
The thread is pretty much an open discussion; SO anyone & everyone may add their own ideas & creations if they wish.
