| In my 1 spot: Star Trek. I know I thought it would be a pice of crap too In my 2 spot: 2012. Now I'm a bible guy so I think the book of Revalation is right and the 2012 idea is crap, however I thought this was a GREAT movie with all the cool lava stuff and all that WOW! Would love to get it on DVD and my 3 spot: Green Zone. I don't know why, but I thought it was cool So what are your fave movies of 2009 and 2010 so far? Edit: Don't say anything about that 2012 thing I just said. I don't want any of us getting banned for a 2012 anti bible talk. Thats that | |

| I thought Inglourious Basterds was great.
I can't remember what else I saw, which I guess says something.
Oh, wait I saw Final Destination 3D. The plot was - as expected - horrendously useless, but the 3D effects were awesome. They were my first 3D experience to I was really impressed. And it spared me going to Avatar. I think I will check out the Clash of the Titans remake as it is also in 3D and the trailer looked quite impressive in 2D already. I don't usually go to these action flicks but that was kinda cool and I'd like to see how that works in 3D.

| Watchmen- I had never read the book beforehand and really enjoyed the movie. Up- not that I was overly impressed, but cute. ???- I really don't know. Seems like kind of a weak couple years for movies to be honest. I'll see what everyone else says and maybe edit this post later. | |

| Good Stuff The Road: Stuck close enough to the book to not upset anyone and really felt like how things would be in a post-apocalyptic situation. Zombie Land: Zombies and stuff. No more needs to be said. Kick-Ass: Possibly the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Bad Stuff Book of Eli: Very poor acting. Plot wasn't great either. A real shame as it looked great. The sets and costumes were about the best thing going for it. Can't remember what other stuff I saw at the cinema. The ones above are those I can remember off hand. | |

| 1) Avatar - Sometimes a good movie needs a plot that is easy to follow and great on the eyes. Not everything has to be complicated. Besides, it was a tried and true formula. (Pocahontas/Fern Gully!)
2) How to Train Your Dragon - Just. Very surprisingly awesome. I loved it.
3) Zombie Land - Zombies, huzzah!
RUNNERS UP Book of Eli (I enjoyed it...) From Paris With Love (Bald Travolta amuses me) Sherlock Holmes (I love anything that remotely resembles Steam Punk. I am a tool.)
WANT TO SEE Ironman 2 (warmachine! woo!) Clash of the Titans (I want a release the Kraken T-shirt with a kitty on it.) The Road (Post Apocalyptia!)

| I think i'll have to remove avatar from my list and replace it with Kick Ass! Went to see it last night and I haven't laughed that much in a long time... sooooo inappropriate and dark, but damn is that movie hilarious! A definate must see!!! - Figgy wrote:

awesome. I loved it. Loved it too, but didn't quite make the top 3... the ending was a bit... "what the?!?!" for a kids movie, but great all the same
